Mephisto Genetics Poor germination rates lately!

Since Mephisto did not stock the white train anymore I went with their recommended US distributors. So like Harry said I think I may contact seeds here now directly first.Thanks for the input fellow auto aficionados.May all your grows be trouble free and potent.

Yeah my freebies from black Fri hbss x Sam none popped cremdelechem non popped.....and a few others.....i emailed them and got no response....but the plants that do are awsome....just hate when all of a pack doesnt

I have had shit luck with their strains... hubbabubbasmelloscope, northern cheese haze, creme de la chem. Germed these, and 3 other NON mephisto strains. Everything popped BUT their seeds. Not first time either.
Not sure what's up, ordered from seedsman, then a local guy here in Oregon, both gave non magic beans. Seedsman was not gonna cover another mephisto seed, offered THEIR brand...I passed.

When you buy seeds in small quantity like ONE per specific genetics at 20 bucks a pop! and NONE of them pop, it's pretty angering....

Sounds like your issue is possibly your own fault. I highly doubt all of those strains/seeds were bad if they were Mephisto. Not sure why anyone would pay $20 per seed either. I would take a closer look at your germ method personally. Good luck

All seeds from my last direct Mephisto order popped in 24 hours as per usual with seeds that come straight from the source.I think my order from seeds here now contained seeds that may have been exposed to high heat or were just really old.Although I regularly germ seeds that are 3-4 years old with no problems.My germination method is tried and true and has worked for over 25 years.

I was referring to the poster above me, he said multiple strains didn't pop. I can see a certain strain not germinating as well. But if you start 5 different strains and none pop, it's most likely user error not bad seeds. And also, even people growing for 25 years can experience fluctuations in temps/humidity, which can make a difference. Winter slowed mine down one time because of low temps.
