Babies broke soil! Popped up over night. 3 of the 4. I expect the other to sprout in another few days,as it had barely a tail when planted.

my seedlings are looking good. All 4 are stretchy because of the red in the UFO, but the stalks are strong. They are all still the same height and size. i'll post pics later.

we're going to have a couple very cold days so I'll wait another 4-5 days to send them to the greenhouse.

Once you've grown Dragons, your ruined, there's no going back.........lol! I try to grow at least one dragon every grow now. I just grew my first sucessful Stone Dragon and WOOOoooo! Good medicine really!

I was so tempted to try a couple of those fun dragon crosses in the KindSoil, but didn't want to mess with sexing. I don't quite have enough experience sexing yet and that'd be too many variables all at once for me. Next round tho, I've cleared the agenda for dragon mania lmao.

Update:
Ok the pics I promised! They are sharing space with some beans that may not sprout, they are old. Photo period cross, Fire x C99 x 18. Hoping at least 2 sprout for my indoor photo grow!

These double bubblys are looking good. I intentionally let the stems elongated as seedling ( testing a theory ) as they seem to really thicken up after being moved to stronger light. it also helps keep fan leaves from lying on the soil where they can get mold/rot from touching the damp soil. This weekend they weather is cold, but by Tuesday, the warmup finally begins and I'll send them to the greenhouse then.

If I'm using the water right away, i use lemon juice. If i need it stable for more than 2-3 days, I use ph down. I'm not buying it than one is any better than the other! But if you want organic, lemon juice or vinegar works wells. A bottle of lemon juice cost me 99 cents.....

I tried mixing a tbsp of crystals in a 3oz bottle of water and using drops but that didn't pan out either. 4 jems in cups 2singles with tails 2 no tails same cup

My seedlings are doing well. The light they are under seems to be having issues. I've used it many times without problem, but it seems like it has weakened, the plants are very stretched. I'll cure that today, they are going to the greenhouse! And I don't do the plant shuffle known as hardening off.......out they go! lol!

I use baking soda for ph up and use it to adjust when I ph too low. Never had an issue and I believe it buffers the water too as my ph is always very stable when I use Baking soda.

It was always my impression that you should never combine up and down. Im pretty sure I read it. If I go too far down I usually add more water or some silica to raise it back up. Is it actually OK to use up and down in the same batch??

Moved the seedlings to the greenhouse today. The last couple days have been crazy...... So far, they are looking good. A bit stretched from the growlight they were under, but they'll do fine from here on out. All seedling are still pretty close in size and development. Can't wait to see what they look like a week from now!
