Live Stoner Chat Potential Bad Ganja Side Effects / Overdose Symptoms / Contra-indications of Ganja with Other Substa

Too be honest... IMO I feel when things like that happen its 99.9 % Mental. You just gotta ride the wave and know you will be ok. Sometimes if I over do it with edibles I get this sensation of not being able to breathe and my throat is closing.. What helps me out is staying calm and taking slow deep breaths looking at the second hand on my watch... I know once I see it make 3-4 full rotations around the dial that im good... b/c If i was truly not getting oxygen and able to breathe I would probably have passed out by now seeing how I cant hold my breath for 3-4 minutes. Sounds silly I know but that brings me back to reality. :Sharing One:

You are right on point Pop, It is not like this is a site where people who like weed go to talk. This is a site with Experienced folks. People like me who have medicated on Cannabis for 30 years or more.. I call that research. and the fact that "they" can't hold a torch to us "stoners" as far as facts are concerned, is reason for me to not believe any of PSYCHO-BABBLE.

Fact, No one has ever died from the usage of cannabis

Fact, I have never heard of anyone getting high on weed not brought to a temperature of at least 170 degree for edibles and 325 for smoked cannabis.

Curing cannabis is not the same thing as carboxylation.

I have gotten ill from eating raw uncooked cannabis.

Just sayin' let us keep the good vibe of cannabis. We surely cannot afford to be taking shots at the very people who work to make this site what it is.

Peace

Hey! Great reply. I just came back to this after many years of not being able to. BUT, I did a LOT of research before I opened my mouth to even ask a question. I was skeptical at first, when reading how many things it seemed to work for. But I have been convinced by months of reading before I took the step in to growing and medicating. I really do apologize for coming on strong, but then again, facts are facts.

I find it hard to believe that not everybody here on this site has at least experienced once got so high that he THOUGHT he would die.

MJ can sometimes do strange things to your mind, some years ago I made space cupcakes at a birthdayparty for A friend of mine.
Made Like 60 cakes and there where like 30 guests but only 7 had experienced Mj and only 3 on a regular base!

I placed the cakes on the table and said be careful people, if your not experienced start With a fourth of a cake and see what is does to you!
I and some friends went to the Jacuzzi and when we came back there were like 15 cakes left!
Omg everybody had a crazy night, some guys ate 3 and went totally crazy (I can write a book about that night)
But there was also a girl with a pacemaker she said she thought she would die and that here heart did strange things!
I thought omg hopefully everything turns out alright, i don't wanna have this.
Some months later I met the girl back and she said that hart specialist didn't see a thing on the readout of here pacemaker on that day of the cakes.
So it was all in here mind!
If I'm feeling really bad because of to much and have the feeling that I,m going to die I just say to myself so be it!:tiphat:

This is the View of a Drugs Think Tank set up in the UK..I Think it puts the Danger into Perspective..

Ex-government drugs adviser Professor David Nutt repeats cannabis warning

The former government drugs adviser forced to resign over his views on cannabis has repeated his calls for the drug to be decriminalised.

Professor David Nutt said a decision to make magic mushrooms Class A was "almost the final nail in the coffin of the rationality of the Misuse of Drugs Act" and there needs to be more "sensible, rational" regulation of drugs.
He said Government decisions on drugs were often motivated by politics rather than science, and stood by previous, controversial comments in which he declared taking ecstasy was no more risky than horse-riding.
Prof Nutt resigned as the chairman of the Advisory Council on Misuse of Drugs (ACMD) in November 2009 over the decision to reclassify cannabis from a Class C to a Class B drug.
Now chairman of the Independent Scientific Committee on Drugs, he told the Home Affairs Select Committee today: "I think people have a very exaggerated perception of the harms of drugs and they tend to minimise the harms of other activities which particularly young people engage in which are potentially as harmful or more harmful."
Prof Nutt called for a system similar to the Bank of England model, whereby the ACMD could have some statutory powers "to stop party politics contaminating sensible decision-making".
"The reason the Misuse of Drugs Act was set up in the first place was to stop people playing politics with drugs," he said.
But he said in his 10 years on the ACMD, politicians would "only support recommendations which made drugs more illegal or increased the sanctions" and said in that time, cannabis was the only drug reduced in classification.
"Moving magic mushrooms to Class A was almost the final nail in the coffin of the rationality of the Misuse of Drugs Act," he said.
"Politics determined decision-making much more than science.
"It's easy to score political points around drugs and that's why we have ratcheted up sanctions, classes, over the last 40 years, and people have not had the courage to say, 'no, it's wrong'."
Prof Nutt told the committee that he believed 25% of the British public would smoke cannabis instead of drinking alcohol if the drug was not illegal, and suggested a system of decriminalising it similar to that used in the Netherlands.
"They are all very rational approaches and they would reduce harm in society.
"What we see now is a rising, rising tide of damage from alcohol. There's no doubt that a lot of people drink because it's legal. It's considerably more dangerous than cannabis."
He said decriminalising cannabis would bring a "net benefit" to the population.
"Of course cannabis is harmful, all drugs are harmful. You can't have a harm-free drug, of course cannabis is harmful, but you have to be proportionate.
"The harms of cannabis are less than the harms of alcohol. Cannabis is not safe but I am saying in proportionate terms that kind of regulation would have a net population benefit on health."
The professor also stood by his comments about horse-riding, saying: "I don't think it's irresponsible, it's entirely appropriate.
"These are all activities that people do because they enjoy doing them.
"It's completely arbitrary you should say you should allow someone to ride a horse and not worry about the cost to the NHS when they fall off and break their brain.
"I think it's completely appropriate to say and, in a broader sense, people want to make a decision about what to do with their life, they should at least know about the harms of drugs as compared to all the other activities that they do."

I talked about it in the thread discussing the first time we all got high (links maybe later, kinda lazy right now), but I had a panic attack and my heart was racing one time... so I wrote down my last will and testament on my laptop and took a nap. That's pretty much the end of the story. We all know canna increases your heart rate, but I was a novice... so chalk it up to me being an idiot. Out of everything I do, you know, texting while driving, refusing to floss because it gets stuck in my teeth, and looking at porn on work computers... cannabis is by far the least of my worries.

I would say good for you the feeling your going to die is not that funny, I don't wish this feeling to anybody.
I don't do edibles anymore because had some pretty crazy experiences, good and bad!

Sativa strain contains no CBD tend to trigger this unconfortable feeling faster, also believe this has something to do with mixing tabbaco into joints!
But the lesson I have learned in my psychonautic adventures are that you should never compare yourself to others!
So take the dose that you can handle!
