Indoor Prez's Photo Indica Fun, (The Ox, PHP, GodBud) under LED

only my 2nd photo period run i've been doing autoflowering varieties.

variety grown: Rare Dankness- The Ox, & Pineapple hashplant, and BC Bud depot's God Bud. all regular sex
( Rare Dankness- rare darkness was supposed to be in this grow to but due to odd germination issues its not in this round)

medium: 50/50 mix of M3 organic medical marijuana soil and Fox Farms ocean forest in air-pots and smart pots

Lighting: LED (blackstar chrome, california lightworks 200w solarflare) with supplemental CFL

status as of now: 2 pineapple hashplant up and about 7 days old both planted in same 2 gal air-pot until sexed.
2 The Ox up one at 7 days one at about 3 both in 32oz cups tiered to make it about 40oz these will also go into 2 gallon air pot once sex is suspected.
2 god bud just dropped into shotglass of distilled water tonight these will go into 5 gallon smart pot until sex is show and any males will be chopped or if both female then multipot grow.

two happy god bud seedlings popped up today and are now in the 5 gallon smart pot, thou i did try to pull an "Astro" and tipped over one of the peat pucks and bumped the head of one seedling so hoping they aren't stunted. i'd like to veg the whole group about a month before going into flower since i'm short on vertical space, only about 3 1/2 ft of head room.

you should do a smart pot vs airpot grow off -- should be interesting to see the results.

I swear the starting point is the most fun. I have to agree with you, that weird one has that little "thingy" up top.. I would bet on you having a great grow!

if i had the space i would but i don't have equal size smart pots and air-pots and this run they will be differnt girls in each, Pineapple hash plant and Ox in air-pot and Godbud in smartpots but now i've got the 6 seedlings i was hoping for and now i just need the ganja gods to smile on me for 3 females maybe one of each variety but if i get an extra i'll try and squeeze her in

does anyone have experience with Godbud? i'm wondering if it responds well to top or FIM? i'll probably train whatever girls i do keep just wondering if i should stick with LST or if godbud is one that likes to be topped... i know the raredankness strains are pretty new so i doubt there is much info out there about them

no experience with godbud. but will just be giving my opinion. lol.

lst is just tying down the plant to control height -- low stress training.

top or fim is when you actually cut off the growing site -- making it use up the growth towards the side branches (multiple colas)
the more you top/fim the more colas youll have but smaller.

i'm aware of the techniques i have used lst and fim in the past but some plants won't live up to their full potential without multiple tops like blueberry for example i was just curious if anyone had info on the godbud since its been around a while, i just hadn't had a chance to research it yet. thank for your input thou. and for anyone who does top i would recommend FIM technique over normal topping less stress to plant and better outcome. can't wait to get these girls going full bloom seems like such a long time from now thou...
