Hello all, I am getting ready to do my first auto grow with Pro-Mix HP and the GO box under T5HOs.
Looked all over the site, but could not find out how much to reduce the feeding amount for General Organics nutrients for AFs.

If someone could direct me to a link, I would greatly appreciate it.

Edit: Also are 2 gallon containers big enough with the growing medium and nutrients that I will be using for HighRise (GH x C99) x C99?

Thank-you.

I'll jump in here since I have done similar grows as you using the GO box and T5 lighting. I would suggest cutting down the GO recommended feeding by half when the plants are young. As you get into the second month and they have put on some size, you can try moving up to the full dosage and see how they handle it. Definitely by flower I have no problems running the full 10ml dose of bloom nutes with most plants. The key is to not stunt them when they're young by overnuting, but also to not get hit with deficiencies in flower because you're going too light with the food. The only thing that you may need to go above the recommended dosage with is the cal/mag, since autos often need extra. What type of water are you using? This will affect whether or not you need to be concerned with pH while using the GO nutes. One last thing to consider is adding a myco supplement such as Great White. Maintaining a healthy microherd is crucial to getting the best results from organic nutes like the GO line.

As for 2 gallon containers, I have found that they're a great size for growing under T5 lights. The flouros don't have very good penetration so you don't want to grow huge plants unless you plan to LST or scrog them to keep the height down. The bottom buds will be too airy if you grow tall, lanky plants rather than short, bushy ones. So when I used T5s I kept the pots smaller and the lights right on the plants to encourage less stretching.

Good luck with your grow!

Great news on the well water - some natural minerals and no chlorine to worry about. If you could find out the EC/ppm that would be helpful, but not critical to know with organic growing. I ask because GO recommends that you adjust the pH with RO or distilled water, but not do it with well or tap water since the minerals in the water will buffer pH. My decholoramined tap water usually runs in the high sevens and I've been fine with the pH when using GO nutrients. Just out of curiosity I monitor it with a soil probe & it reads down in the low 6s after feeding, and then drifts up into the mid/high 6s right before the next feeding. That's where having a healthy microherd in the soil will really help keep things balanced. :gthumb:
