Thanks for subbing. Have to say that was an great advice. I have tought about it a little but. That could be the reason why i had some kind of slime on one of the girls roots. Will rinse some pepples today and cover them all the way up!

Good man! It just might be, any kind of light leaks will cause bacteria to grow.
Then you have some power under the hood. Can't wait to see how it turns out.

Got the SM-90 today and just added 60ml - 0.45/L to the rez. It did make a zzzzzz "burning" sound when hit the rez. I tought it smelled like a bathroom-cleaner, like AJAX, with the touch of citrus. So i read the bottle twice to make sure it wasnt a mix-up with bottles. Hopefully it works. I read some reviews about it and what it does, so i belive i should be okey. I had a look at the roots today on the same girl, and sure, looks same as yesterday, having slime again, hmm. Lets have look tomorrow.

I get alot of more bubbles, almost foam when I add sm-90 and turn on the air pump. Is it a thick slime, any color?
I mean, when I change the water in my buckets, the air lines, and the inside of the buckets are a bit slimy, I think it's just from all the nutrients.

Oh, lets have a look at yesterday pic of roots... i think its the start of slime, also got it confirmed by other members.

That was yesterday, was little more today and also spotted it on another plant.

I have now filled the net-pots over the edge with clay-pebbles, will put something in top aswell, that prevent light from hitting rez. And hope the magic of SM-90 does the job.

I will just put this pic of the rez-lid here and hoping i found the source of the slime... the net-pots are in the same color.
I am covering them up right now. Hoping for my grow its the reason... lets see if alien hasnt done a bummer here...

So i covered up the buckets and net-baskets, i cleaned the system. I lowered the ppms to 320 and adjusted ph to 5.8.... 400 ppms and raising to 410 was to high... hoping 320 will be better.
I added 0.5 ml/L of sm-90 into my watertank yesterday, exactly when i filled it up so the water would stay clean all the time in my possession.
In a couple of days we should know how things are going... im in to alot of threads so wil try visit this one every 5th day.

Its day 13 from when i saw them first time.
I see that they had to much nutrients, N, especially. That was probably when i was up and dreamed in the 400ppm clouds..
I think the food is okey now as it is, 330 ppm. And i have left the ph at 6.1 - 6.2.

Girl above have something called variegation, im pretty sure. They normally grow out of it at before day 20 when growing in soil, just once the girl stayed like this all the grow. That wont happen now.

Girl above was stressed by me fixing with her roots, trying to clean them. She looks healthier and she continues to grow, she will be fine. She grows out of the gellowing.

And these two girls above is in good shape, to good for me, for beeing a first time DWC

With some luck we might see some nice sized girls in the future. :smoking:

It's day 15...

Hmm.. starting to be little worried they will turn out like runts... but one thing is that they are the same size. So they could just be slow in the start or little delayed from me playing with their roots, trying to be doctor green-tumb.
