If you want to up your yields organically you need big pots and lots of light. I've used a version of Subcool's super soil recipe with autos quite successfully, so if you're able to get those ingredients then you should be absolutely golden! I've heard nothing but good things about Biobizz light mix soil with autos, so that it would be an ideal substitute for Roots Organics. What is your pot size and current light set up?

Best of luck!

Lots of good advice on this thread, I didn't vote because I don't think you should give up on organic but why not give chems a try it might work out for you. I myself have chosen organic for one reason only. FLAVOR! That is with weed and vegetables the flavor is unmatched anybody that argues that point has not tried organic or doesn't have a good palete, hey if you can't taste anything how anything taste doesn't matter much.

Case in point
Last year I did an experiment with a few people that grow around here five of us had clones off the same mother myself and one other grew organic the rest other three used their choice of chems, it was agreed the the organic had the best flavor. But the Chem guys still use their chems to this day so it's all a personal choice.

While I totally agree that flavor AND the fact that the elements which went into the smoke are probably more aligned to the human physiology are very exellent reasons to go TLO! Not to mention seeking a more harmonious relationship with na honua, the Earth, there are possible drawbacks. One main issue in my book is the higher possibility of having pests, negative fungi, moldss, mildews, and their ilk due to the organism friendly environment. Much easier to maintain a cleanroom like environment with hydro and as a novice it was a factor in my decision to go with the added expense and complexity of hydro. The desire to go organic is a strong one, that is why I am interested in organic nutes, it may be a way of partially getting the best of both worlds.

uhh ..well to be honest my room has gotten and can stay dirtier than a chem grow thats for sure LOL! and pests if your general guidelines are observed such as in any standard grow its no more work to maintain it than any other grow.in fact its easier LOL! dirty, and them small pests are normal man.a small fungus gnat here n there, but that usually happens when soil is dry.so the bigger the plant the less yur gonna have, but its normal man..LMAO! seriously! so imho your worries arent really worth worrying about to be honest bro.

I agree with GBD you need big pots and good lights first and foremost for big plants (airpots) and of course a good soil, I prefer some coco mixed with compost and EWC with a few amendments. keep it simple.

Then you need good genetics for bigger plants DP comes to mind among others.

Feed tea and aerated water its more work but the flavor of organic is incomparable to chem grown.

I had a buddy give me some smoke he bought that looked great, but tasted like crap from the chem's I could not even smoke it and gave it away, I am too spoiled with jars of sweet cured organic smoke to ever smoke that stuff again.

Cant you UK guys order on Amazon? they have everything, I am in the boonies of Alaska, and no stores here and I am able to order everything I need no problem, check ebay too.

I too have wondered if we will ever see TaNg sized yields from indoor organics and hope we do someday figure out how to push a plant like that.

Organics can take a bit longer to finish as well but I have gotten 90-100 grs a plant that's worth my effort I would say.
