Hey man, going good here, the CK is still chillin in the tent, its slowly filling in but looks kind of like leafy bud. I will update my grow with a pic someday soon.
Hey AKNL good to know you are hanging by your ck, gotta give you credit for your patience. I know what you mean about the buds, mine look awfully small, I don't know ... we'll find out though, that's for sure.

I'm on the cusp! I care about the environment, care about sustainability and my health, but organics is hard work. Especially here in UK where products are minimal and hard to come by. I'm getting bored of carrying buckets of rainwater into my house, looking super suspicious, and overall I'm fed up with results I'm getting. I want simplicity and good results, after 1 year of growing I'm still no further along, it's all just too hit and miss for my liking. TaNgs schedule is on my mind big time.

Any thoughts?
If you want to stay organic and organics nutes are hard to come by, get your self a worm farm and make your own worm castings! worm casting alone will make a big difference in an organic grow. 30-30% mixed with your soil. For water well you can put your tap water in bucket, drop an airstone in and let it bubble a couple hours. mix some rain water occasionally. Its that simple! I did a test grow and the plants grow in organic potting soil with only worm castings out grew the mix with just organic nutrients. When you can get some nutes keep the choices simple. blood meal and Kelp meal with worm castings will work fine as a very basic mix

I'm down to this...

KISS growing at work! I love it!
My new " fancy mix"...is worm castings. blood meal, epsom salts, and lime for fresh organic soil. I add Grow More Organic Soil builder and coco coir to my basic mix for recycled soil.

Water filtration should be your first step!
Not imo
dont take my word for it.
The thing about organics for me is the ease of it. Yes it took me a bit to rap my head around it, but once I figured it out BAM!
If its not easy than your doing something wrong.
Get a under sink charcoal filter! I'm not a big fan of rain water. imo the run off from city rooftops would be something that I would NOT drink or feed my dirt.
Bottled water would be ideal.
Dont give up Bro!
Maybe try 4-6 small pots, get your system dialed, then Boom! 1 to 2 BIG girls.
This procedure has been successful for me.

Hey Dazed.:pass:
I'll throw a curve ball into the conversation.
You may want to consider Veganics.
I had been growing with General Organics for years with great results.
But recent moves by the company has led me to stop using their product.
I've made the switch and my plants are loving it.
The brand I'm running is called Vegamatrix.
Created by Kyle Kushman (former High Times editor and creator of Strawberry Cough)

In addition to the Vegamatrix I'm using O.G. Veganic Special Sauce.

It's a no brew microbial tea that I give once a week.
I don't ph any of my feedings and the ladies are loving it.
As well I should state that I'm growing in coco under LED's and I have no Cal Mag issues.
Just wanted to give you a heads up and let you know there is another option available.

Good luck on your search :pass:

The hook for me with organics is simplicity. While you certainly can (and eventually should) get into more detail with your soil mix and such, pop22 showed with one of his threads how just some basic organic soil, EWC, and basic nutes in the soil was enough to get a solid harvest if you just water with RO water. That's simplicity at its finest: no flushing, no feeding schedules or ph balancing, just put dirt in pot, add sprout, water, wait. Compare that to the hassles of chemical growing; I had a friend who chided me for growing organic to make things simpler because "all you have to do is flush X days later, then flush X times before harvest, check the ph before you feed, and you're done. How could it be easier?" Well, you could just put them in the dirt and water them and be done. :cool1:

My own soil mix had the same results; I added a little liquid kelp during the grow, but more out of newbie concern than any signs from the plant she was hungry, and the end smoke was one of the finest I've ever had.

Organic growing is considered to be less effective than synth chems, but in my opinion that simply seems to be because sythentic fertilizers and methods are far more mainstream and have received far more research and study to make them effective. A well cared for organic soil in the hands of a skilled grower can do just as well as synthetics, and tends to taste/smell/whatever better as a bonus. I've noticed the difference in everything I grow, not just marijuana.

Right on Ronin... Their microbial tea is super as a top-dressing additive...

Bummer Dazed :sadcry:

I can feel your frustration... Although I'm a steadfast TLO gardener at the moment, I did cut my teeth on indoor ganja growing using the grandaddy of growing programs... The AF/OFP or AutoFlower/Organic Feeding Program... It was first published here in 2011 I believe and has been replicated and modified since... It worked great for me and I got fantastic results (4 foot plans, 3-6 ounce yeilds)... Give it a go! Expand your repertoire...

When I was in the thick of these methods, I felt like an artist and eventually could pour all the proper ingredients by week and eye... In a large garden I found it to become a bit cumbersome 'bartendering' all those bottles and the expense was ultimately prohibitive...

I do take exception to those who seem to think that TLO organic growing is low yielding and the like... My ganja consistently ranks top in the metropolitan area I serve... My production yields are averaging 980 grams per 1.25 meters squared... My ranking is not contrived either, I field test every strain that comes out of my shop and CLIENTS tell me it's the best... I've never lost a client to another MMJ caregiver...

In my humble opinion, my perpetual gardening methods are producing high yielding, high quality (Brix scale), potent (consumer rating) weed in the most efficient and cost effective manner possible... Though these are my opinions, I abide by them and take my results to the bank...
