Tossing this in.. if I read this right, this is your first grow.
If this is indeed the case, the above mentioned plan is a recipe for disaster.

It can be done, but expecting to run a grow (fully loaded 4x4) on your first go is kinda over the top a little. Things can go sideways in a grow fast, auto grow faster.

Not knocking the want to grow mass quantities... first grow expectations are VERY rarely realized... most get thru with an issue or two, some squeak thru. And a lot never make it thru flower.
Grows like those ruin someone's desire to continue, so... reasonable expectations...

I'd recomend you change your goal to growing 3 or 4 healthy plants, and getting a quality product.
Growing quality and quantity is an art.

And the above is correct, that light is suitable for a 3x3 a 4x4 is almost twice the square feet.

Full canopies and enough light is the key to yields. But I agree it’s probably not best for a new grower unless they excel at trial by fire. These are 9 multi strains off the same res too which is tough with different feeders

Only doing 4 mainlined indicas and two barely trained Ricks Pupil BX

I hear you @Soil2Coco saddens me when new people come thru with expectations that their first grow is gonna be the dank dank... and it ends closer to stank stank... it takes a while to grow good weed, and a lifetime to grow great weed.

Thanks alot folks for the input, i did change the strains, gonna be getting 5 Northern Lights by Nirvana which are small plants from what i read, so it will help with space issues, also i'm debating my self if i should get the Grower's Choice 315 CMH light, to add it to the tent, and i don't think i'll go more than 5 plants per 3 galloon, is it a good idea ?

If it was me I'd go with dinafem or a big Mephisto. If it were shorter tent sog would be good. But with that height one dinafem would explode that tent with bud and be way easier to get a hang of versus sog.

I agree, the rule to start slow, applies to everything in life, and i'm gonna do that eventually, but the idea of growing for 3 months, and run out in 2 weeks is kinda a downer, where i live, there's no hydroponic material, or equipment, nor weed, only bad hash, that increases my anxiety, i'm doing this for medical reasons mostly !

I agree, the rule to start slow, applies to everything in life, and i'm gonna do that eventually, but the idea of growing for 3 months, and run out in 2 weeks is kinda a downer, where i live, there's no hydroponic material, or equipment, nor weed, only bad hash, that increases my anxiety, i'm doing this for medical reasons mostly !

My point was a dinafem will fill that tent with more bud than sog ever thought about. Sog is good when height or stealth is an issue. But with the head space you could get a 1lb from a dinafem when done right vs 5 or 6 small ones getting you a once a plant. Just because you see some getting 3-4 thats not likely on first run. Also smaller plants in my experience have been harder to maintain when in high humidity or low humidity. They wont take the abuse either. One major screw up and you have lost half your harvest. I grew one ripleys in a 4x4 and it was over 6oz cut about 2 weeks early touching from wall to wall. Ive had 100 day strains from a dinafem cross got me around 8oz.

Yes i get you, that was the original plan, i ordered Dinafem seeds first, but they returned them cause they couldn't deliver due to address error , that's when i ordered the other seeds from attitude. but i'll certainly get Dinafem on my second order, also when you mean done right, as in Scrog ?

I do just fine with lst training and topping. Scrog seems to much of a cluster f**k for me but others do good

Okay bro i have a question that would help alot, i have low tolerance to THC, and i'm planning to smoke only when i get chest anxiety pains, so 2 or 3 times a week tops, around how many plants would i need so i won't run out ? i know it's a very hard question, but just take a guess, it's not for this grow or anything, i just never did a grow, so i have zero clue you might guess better
