no camera tricks here mate, the black hues you are seeing around the leaf are as dark as they look.

Grey overhead..definitely coal black...
and..
I can see the black coming in from the tips on the leaves..

But....is it DC..or FL.....?

Indeed all around the sucker. Its light to the eye now but i can imagine what it is going to look like in a week or so

reddish black, they are quite opaque really. Its hard to catch the color on the camera with the male. The green around it hides its luster.




But....is it DC..or FL.....?

Bottom male..hanging @ 6 O'clock..red flower stem and blush to outer petal case....
upper petal cases too..

when you have the space to let them go over..they get redder...

Bud colour..leaf colour...pointing to Dragon all the way..Except for the middle leaf finger...That was what decided me for FL...
so..
all in all a Good Meld...mixed genetic traits of Both Parents...
