I only recently started looking through here for seed breeders specializing in autos. After learning that you, Mossy, are a leading breeder and are going to be developing new products for the spring, and now seeing this followup post -

First thing - A ton of aloha to you as a "Different" person. As a lurker in this forum, I am popping in to say thank you for putting yourself out there.

Second thing - I am really looking forward to seeing what a dedicated auto breeder has created and will be presenting in the spring. In the meantime, can you tell us - Are the seeds from Dragon Master Seed Co available at RCMC from you, Mossy? What is the relationship between you and Stone?

Anyone Knowing me Knows I have had 2 long held Dreams.

Legalisation..and a Farm.

I Thought I'd See Legalisation in my life time.."MysticMossy"..I never Thought I'd See the Farm..or any Land.

Everything we could afford was 30-60 minutes inland.

Too High a price to pay to leave the coast...so we were quite resigned.

Then..a few weeks ago a small piece of Heaven came up in our area.

We went to See it on the Saturday..couldn't believe it..couldn't believe we could Afford it.

Put the deposit on it on the Monday..and against all odds..it was due to complete 5th Jan..we actually got it as an Early Christmas present.

AFN's European HQ..Dragons Zen Farm...rag-On:..or it will be when it is Finished...

JM has a 2 Year project to turn Me and the Land into a Super Organic farm so when Spain Legalises we are Ready to Go with 11,000 sq mtrs of Prime farming land.

It seems only Right to start this project on the shortest day..coz every day from now I add an extra minute of Light a day going through to Spring and the start of growing season.

So here we Start the New Journey....:Riding the Dragon: ..Fingers Crossed and Burnt Offering sent to the Great Ganja Goddess that Spain Legalises in my Time Frame....:CB:..Compulsory smoke break to stoke up the karma Cloud.

On the first Year we will be concentrating on the land only within the compound.
The Aim is to reproduce plants for cuttings/seed the repopulate the rest of the fields for the next year.

Its so pretty .. what season are you in now? weather?

I have 1 cheapo polytunnel for the start up..it cost just over £100..if I get the season out of it..it will have paid for itself..and hopefully by the end of the year I can afford something decent.


Local polytunnels have plastic roofs and mesh sides.

They are more about Protection against torrential rain than retaining heat.
Spain is one of the hottest areas in Europe..almost equivillent to Floridas climate.

I'll Investigate local polytunnel prices after the New Year.

Spain is set up for these small holding type Farms..they have co-operatives..non profit making suppliers of seed plants and equipment to help out the small farming community..

There is one near our Friend that we will probably start using..it has the Most Amazing hydro system you have seen.

I saw it crank up once..they have massive hydro tanks..then this system that lifts the complete growing pots up and moves them to the next tank...My chin hit the floor..

Cheers gbd...Dream come True..had to be karma..coz I know we couldn't have afforded this without it...we have been Looking for YEARS.

A 500 sq meter Building plot with planning permission costs between 60-90 thousand euros..we are in the Tourist belt.
5-10 minutes from the sea.

The plot is in Rustica..that means you cannot erect any Permanent home..but that suits us..coz if we can't..nor can anybody else.....so our little patch of heaven should be suddenly surrounded by high risers.

Winter The Elvis..shortest day..but it was 20C on the patio yesterday...

Jan Feb are our wet months..so I'm expecting worse.

The plot we have set aside for the first year is approximately 54 ft x 64 ft.

from the front fence to the back gate..which leads out to the main field.

Until we Legalise..I'm Hoping to concentrate on Chillies/tomatoes and herbs.

Being a Brit in Spain I find the local chilli market very disappointing..I just couldn't get anything other than one local variety.

Brits Love chillies..and Thai curries..and we can't source nice fresh varieties locally..so I'm hoping to plug the gap.

Tomatoes are plentiful...BUT..the cherry tomatoes are Scandalously expensive... ..so I'm going to concentrate on them..coz I Know I can do better.

I have spent all of my Christmas money on seed....

Grow it..repro it..and save the seed for next year....

The land is classed as rustica..it was an Olive Farm..no permanent buildings allowed so it is a holiday chalet.

The land has permission for 3 more of these units on..if they legalise..we have our "as much as you can Smoke Stoner holidays" going.

It looks like the previous owners have started to replace the patio bricks with wood..and got half way around....so there is plenty of cosmetic work to do..which will probably be down to me.

Hubby went to get some green wood preservative today and they wanted 75 Euros for a small tin....:jaw:..we'll be looking for something cheaper.

You can see where the bits have been cobbled together..so all jobs to Do..but we have a Year...:Ohmmm.......:..no Push
