We are attatched to the agricultural water system but the people we bought it from says they haven't ever used it.
Hubby can see a couple of places where the piping has collapsed..so it will probably be a big job..but invaluable if we can get it rigged up.

Normal water cost here would be prohibitive..the agricultural water is much cheaper.

They field flood with a system of sluices..the system is fed by irrigation canals which bring water down from the mountains.

I have ordered a Neem tree..it will come January.
With Land..I might as well grow/produce me own.

I also intend having an orangery..or mixed citrus grove.
The orange oil I made from the skins last year actually stopped red spider in its tracks...without any plant damage.

Anything that kills red spider is a Friend of mine.

I'll Experiment with it more..I only tried it on my buddahs hand..I'll extend the trials until I get it right.

Also my polytunnel book recommends a Garlic spray once a week..I may need an alternative until my neem tree grows.

What a way to tell a girl she is getting Old....:yoinks:..I do know what you mean though..I was saying to Muddy I worry that I am too old to use it fully...But..I am under no obligation with it..I can just sit on a rocker on the patio if I feel like it...

Cheers pop..I Lost about 60 minutes to that catalogue..chillies toms and herbs,,great variety...:coffee2:

I want to make a kind of sensory garden for me..so herbs will play their part.

I'm already eyeing up my Patchouli plant..counting how many Cuttings I can See for when it starts spring growth.
My Jasmine too...I Think I shall get some small February flower ones..grow the season and take cuttings next spring... :grin:
