Grow Room Second PC grow: RRF

Looking really awesome!:bong: I Love the way its filled out the screen. How much taller you think they will be with all the buds filled out?

My plant is currently is currently in hiding. She is a little taller than last week. I will have to resort to drastic measures as toppings if it gets too out of hand.

bad news, i had to top multiple nodes due to the stretch of a 12 hour light period and less than optimal lighting conditions. she also shed a great deal of her older fan leaves in stress. there is no sign of balls though. back under the lamps today. oh well! pics later

I got tiny ants in my case. I put out terro drops they seem to be taking it. So that problem should be solved soon

the 'as seen on tv' pest books says 'ants don't like cinnamon' spread some around ..if that don't work you can put it on your toast..I seen it on a infomercial

Terro gel got em. It causes gas to build up inside ants. They cannot fart so they die!

Day 58: Mid-Late Bloom

So, my plant had a few hiccups last week. She was put outside for nearly 5 days and stretched the point that i had to top her in multiple spots. She picked up a small colony of ants which I have already managed to eradicate. I used the terrogel for that (boric acid). The toppings actually have had a positive effect in my opinion. The nodes that would be lower growth if the plant wasnt SCROG'ed, are filling in unlike the other two RRF's I have had flower. Overall, I am a little disappointed with how long it is taking to develop buds. I think she is going to run closer to Bgrt's 85 days now. As you will see from the photo's, I don't see any reason to stop feeding her any time soon.

On a side note, I am taking proper care to save and store my trimmings until the grow is over instead of just tossing it. So, quick wash hash run soon!

running it close! The canopy level is staying around 85-87 F with the 23 watters in there. Below the plant is holding up at about 81-82 F. It's a good setup with the 23 watt bulbs. It can defininetly handle summer time heat however, my container is too big for the volume of grow space i have. I am noticing yellowing tips that are indicative of a plant asking for more light. I am trying to figure out a way to upgrade at least 1 bulb to 40w for extra density but, summer in South will probably have something else to say about that. I'll be beginning the hunt for cheap power tools to begin my cabinet project in the next 2 weeks.
