Gelato 41 Auto

So far so good with the Gelato 41's, both looking healthy and both are chunking up nice :woohoo: I had to remove my battle plant from the 1gal pot I had her in though. Somehow the roots managed to squeeze through the tiny holes in the Solo Cup, then through the soil, and then out the fabric pot :yoinks: View attachment 1336473
I wasn't expecting that, so I thought I'd better take her out just incase it was construed as cheating :redcard: I've kept the 2nd Gelato 41 in the other pot and we'll see how she does :toke:

hi bro in all fairness to the other growers im not sure if they will be allowed to poll as both of them have been basically in other pots and even for a week that's a big advantage as the rules say they must stay in the solo cup and as you can see in your pics its roots have come out of the other pot as this grow is for prizes mark will have to decide mate he may say its ok but im just being fair @Seedstockers-Mark

Was this plant grown solely in a Solo Cup @The Mugwamp ?

Or in a bigger pot that allowed roots to spread?

Kind regards :bong:

Mark..
Hi Mark, it's been grown solely in the cup for the first 6 weeks or so, then I put them in the fabric pots as they kept getting knocked over. It was only in the pot for around a week or possibly less and soon as I saw the roots come through I took the battle plant out. I've kept the non battle plant in the pot, as I thought only one would be being judged :pass:
Here she is today

it's up to mark bro but for a week that's like it's been repotted for a week and took out and everyone else has kept there's solely in the cup

They are still in Solo Cup! It's no different than leaving them in a cup of feed like I have done before, you always get a few roots coming out the bottom :pass: but if its deemed as cheating, so be it. I've been honest about the roots coming out (that was with my non battle plant anyway) and you can see through my journal that it wasn't in the pot for long, so we shall see :toke:

Week 9
Gelato 41 Auto
Day 58
I have to start by apologising to any fellow growers who took exception to how I put put my Solo Cup girls in the fabric pots. I have been advised that could be classed as being potted up and they could gain an advantage being in them, no matter how long they were in  it was never my intention to gain any advantages, it was one of those stoner moments, or should I another one of those stoner moments :crying: and of course I will take myself out of the Competition immediately :grump: I will carry on with the thread still, as it's not @Seedstockers-Mark fault I'm a bloody halfwit

Gelato 2
This was my non battle plant, that I put in the fabric pot around day 35ish, the main reason I kept her in the pot is because this was the one that had the roots coming out the pot, and when I tried to take her out, I couldn't  the roots had taken too well, and I didn't want to damage her, so I left her in.

I’ve not touched mine I think I’m gonna do a better trim job because I left a few little leaves on mine I reckon if it was a tighter trim job I would be exactly same weight as @St. Tom it was 68 grams after a couple days drying still shocks me how much weight they lose on the dry.
