Grow Mediums Sensi Seeds Super Skunk SCROG (Autopots, AutoCobs, & Mega Crop Oh, MY!)

:jawdrop:Nice very nice  :slap: :slap:

:slap: yup, rep's deserved. Nice set up and that MCT is a monster!! :highfive:
:thanks:Thanks folks, I love growing but I’m constantly paranoid that some curious camper might come over when I’m not home and either rip them or report them. Cultivation still carries jail time here and with intent to distribute added on can be five years or more. And gee they always tack that on regardless if you never gave anyone a single bud. I’ve always said if I ever drive down my rural road and see a bunch of blue lights up near my property I’m just driving past and leaving the state.

The MCT is going to possibly outgrow my 6’x8’ greenhouse and I’m not kidding. I was thinking of hooking up a SCROG net in there just to be able to control her better. The autoflowers should be out of there in the next three weeks and I might let her take it over. I have to be sure that no plant material is touching the outside walls or you will be able to tell what it is from the outside.

Starting to learn a mistake I might have started out with this SCROG and that’s being impatient. I should have been letting the new growth get 2 inches higher before tucking again. Just a mental note for my next SCROG.

Anyhow here we are 11 days since the flip and still no sign of preflower and tucking every couple days. She seems to be loving the 4gpg of MC and additives with just the slightest tip burn. You really have to go looking for it. She drinks on average an inch from the reservoir daily.

I managed to stretch her out a little more under the screen. I don’t expect to completely fill it with just one, mostly indica, plant but it has been fun trying. Looks like I have 75% covered so far and I would be happy with that. I think I am at the point where I should let her start stretching upwards. I’ve never done this before so any advice would be welcome. Do we have any SCROGing experts on a forum dedicated to autoflowers? :smoking:

In reading recently it seems SCROGing a mother plant is rarely done or suggested. Not sure why, but I guess we shall find out. Anyhow here she is today at lights on. I did tuck one or two really long shoots but for the most part it’s untouched today. Look under her skirts for an added surprise.

Tops look yummy and healthy. But I need to let them start going upwards now.... I think?

Then there is this lovely side picture looking under her skirts. Look closely and you might see a sign of my soil health using MC.

That’s right, freaking mushrooms. I have never had that happen in my garden before. Please someone tell me that is a good sign? I can’t believe it would be a bad thing.

Plant looks fantastic. Not sure about the shrooms good, bad, etc...interested though and now I am searching for "Black soil" lol

Well it’s not like this old mother needed to prove it to me, but 12 days from the flip we have the first signs of preflower and here we are on what I like to call DAY 1. :woody: According to Sensi Seeds this is a 60 day flowering strain which works out to be around September 25th. So we should be harvesting her around the 1st of October.:woohoo:

Here are her daily update pictures for today. Did a some calculating and she is drinking a little more than 2.5 gallons a week. Still showing no real tip burn or deficiencies so next fill up it might get kicked up to 4.25 or 4.5gpg of MC.

The mushrooms decided to dive back into the pool of mycelium from whence they came. It was nice of them to pop up and say hi! :headbang: Readjusted my little USB fan to help keep her undergrowth cool and dry.

I will try to cease tucking since she has started flowering and let her do her thing. I do have to figure out how much more of this undergrowth has to go. A lot of it is fan leaves that were blocking bud sites and I tucked them under the screen.

Hemisync Great looking scrog and grow you can always flip and scrog a mom plant. Another person giving wrong info. Another is you cant clone a feminized plant. BS if you have a halfway decent environment the chances of getting a hermie are small to none. I ve done 100s of clones from fem seeds

HemiSync I completely get rid of all leaves shoots etc below scrog net. This allows for upper bud concentration and makes airflow better to roots and makes watering for me easy( DTW )

I’ve never heard the one about cloning feminized plants. I can’t tell you the hundreds of clones I have grown from feminized females.

The other one I heard was you should always SCROG with plants from seed. Something about clones not branching correctly under a net. :crying: Yea I call BS on that one as well. Here is a small clone I have outside that I just threw a net over to try and push her down some, otherwise she was going to outgrow the greenhouse. I think she is branching just fine.
