The time has come for her junk (trim) to get a wash, using 5 gal full mesh bags (220, 120, 73, and 25 microns), paint cans, and a plastic spoon to mix. metal paint can for washing to keep everything cold and plastic one for flipping the bags to collect the goods. 25 micron mesh drying screen on a cardboard box lid. I had 25.37 g of trim that was cured 3.5 months in a Grove bag, frozen 24 hours before washing. Cultis Twenty20 Mendocino Snow-G (now X-Factor OG) autoflower by @Twenty20 Adam.

Fold the screen to press out excess water. Combined the 25 and 73 fractions from the first wash. All 120 wash yields were combined. The 25 from wash 2 and 3 were combined, and same for the 73 washes from 2 and 3.

Final product with some Snow-G buds from my current bag and the 150 micron kief in the center I collected during trimming

Final yields from this awesome lady were 6 oz of flower, just over 1 gram of kief from trimming, and 25.37 grams of trim destined for the trash turned into 1.67 g of usable hash (6.58% return). Just over a gram of that is the good stuff combined from wash 2 and 3 that i’m going to try pressing Frenchy stylie :woohoo1:

For those new to washing the bags list the smallest size particle (in micrometers, or “microns”) the bag will catch, so when nested a bag will collect particles down to the size listed on its tag up to one number below the next bag up…for instance the 25 micron bag catches particle sizes down to 25 microns and up to 72 microns, the next bag being the 73 micron one. That’s why my pics are labeled 25-72, 73-119, and such
