New Grower soil/CFL cabinet grow; 2 fem auto widow cheese

How long are you out of town? Because you also have the realities of hang dry then into bags or boxes or whatever you're going to do...

Drying/Curing has to be handled pretty accurately.

But yeah, I think you'll be there by then. Just start the flush 12-14 days prior to departure and hang dry while gone (if under 3 days)

If you'll be gone for over 3 days, you may have to start the flush earlier so you can monitor the hang dry and get them into paper bags/boxes
for the controlled part prior to jarring/burping.

This came up on my first grow as I was heading to Hawaii for 10 days. Had a buddy handle the flush, then chopped when I got home.

They look fantastic, BTW! Great Job! :)

Thanks, Trap! I'm only out of town 3 days, leaving on 11/26 and back on 11/29. That'll be day 73 - 76. Great timing, ay?!?!

Just snapped a couple of close-ups. Both of these are from the bushier plant.

I love them so much!!!! I worry that harvesting them is going to be like butchering my little 4H pig when I was a kid. OK, that never happened, but I can imagine :pighug:

Yeah...well, you didn't get to dry that pig out, stuff it in a bowl and smoke it (in theory) ;)
Although Smoked Pulled Pork Sandwiches are right up there...

It IS hard after caring for it for so long, but ultimately this was the predetermined end. :)
Just treat it like Old Yeller....time to go.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure I'll get over it. Cycle o' life, bro' :stylez rasta smoke:

Hi gang!

I have a quick question about humidity. At this point in my grow (day 44), where should I be humidity-wise?

The range on my hygrometer is 40% for the low and 62% for the high. If I need to lower it a bit, how do I go about that? I don't want no moldy buds :cuss:

Thank you my friends.

Cheers y'all, :tiphat:
Jenny

40-62% RH is acceptable range.... :)

When you do want to lower it, the device is called a de-humidifier :) (makes sense)
You're going to get spikes as the plant transpires. As long as a high number
(over 62% for sure) isn't prolonged and only intermittent, I don't think you need
to worry.

Looks like they can be had for about $45 on Amazon.

Plants looking spectacular, BTW ;)

Thanks, bro! You're a funny guy with the dehumidifier ;) I have a couple that I inherited when I bought this house, but they crank heat. Regardless, I think we're about to get some cooler weather. Once the central heat goes on, I'll probably have to pull out the humidifier again.

Real question: what is the optimal humidity range for this phase of growth? I feel like I should be on the lower side.

Peace and love, y'all. Go Royals!!!!

Thanksgiving is a little less than a month away. You have over 4 more weeks before any thing near harvest. Those buds are just babies. They need to fatten up. You have plenty of time. The bottom leaves aren't even yellowing.

My Nirvana Swiss Cheese went to 84 days. She was fat and sticky.

Great looking girls. Just let them ripen up.

Don't know optimal, sorry...and I live in SW Colorado so unless it's raining, RH is below 20% pretty much permanently.

I'd say Go Rockies, but that would be laughable as they have been golfing for months now....
