BTW-thanks for the props on their good looks! My love for them grows daily. I'm thinking about pressing them and putting them into a book like my senior prom corsage I don't want to let them go!!!!

Back story: I've not smoked ANYTHING in close to 20 years! As I've grown older and achier, my aversion to NSAIDs has become stronger. Decided this was a good route to follow. Was a huge fan of the bud back in the day, but took a long hiatus. If I'd been partaking regularly, no doubt I'd feel differently.

On a side note, I've ordered a desktop vape. Stoked (no pun) to try everything out. Merry Christmas?!?!

As someone with bad knees, torn rotator cuff and labrum, and a herniated L5-S1....I can tell you, a big bowl and a single advil set me about 85% better.

And on the bud....pull one nice looking one, tie a bow around it and save it like a wedding bouquet (Just save it in a jar with a boveda 62 in it....
...for emergencies.

wish I lived in CO. Spent a year in Ft. Collins, but it did 't work out. Meanwhile, here in the Midwest the Royals are up 8/0.

Day 52 update and questions about flushing.

I'm hoping to start to flush in maybe 10 days :dunno: Does that seem premature? Regardless, when I do begin, what do I do? Specifically, is it with pH adjusted water? Is it every day with the huge amount of water or just once with subsequent waterings normal amounts (after soil dries and without nutes)?

If you still have a bunch of white pistils, you may want to give it a little longer. Have any of the other fan leaves begun yellowing?? Do you have a loupe to check out the trichs?

No loupe, but I have a handheld microscope. Sadly, I can't for the life of me get it to work. Is a loupe more user friendly?

There are a few yellow leaves here and there, but it's by no means widespread yet. Should the pistils be brown before the flushing starts? Still wondering how flushing works.

Hey, Strawberry. So glad you mentioned Muddy's thread Yes, I've read it, but had some questions. Wondering if all the fan leaves died before those photos were taken or if they were pruned. Did you use this method to determine when to cut? How'd it go? This is my first grow, so I have no idea what I'm looking at. Thank you, brother
