Live Stoner Chat Sour Crack-Day 13

Big Hello from Texas-

Here's a pic of my 13 day old Sour Crack. She's in a 5 gallon bucket under SolarFlare 220 LED about 18" above her.

Soil is roots organic mixed with GBD soil on the bottom.

Thoughts please as this is my first grow using LED lighting. Also using distilled water.

Lights make it look yellow but it's not

Hey man there. The best thing to do is google serrated edges. There is a lot of talk about different causes. I think it's from the light being a little to close while others say excess heat from poor ventilation. This makes sense as 18" is a bit close and the top of the plant could be cooking a little.

Hey @Jackson !

Your baby is looking good.!!! I think you are having the same problem as me.. I'm using 450w LED and just raised up to about 34" as I believe it was to close to my plant. I started to get some leaf curl on the edges!

@Burr_nit is correct your light needs to be higher the curling on the leaves is because your light is to close.for veg put it 26-40 inch then when in full flower 12-18 inch

99% of these light manufacturers don't even grow canna so we take there advice on light heights with a pinch of salt.leds are really intense so do not need to be that close in veg

Recommendations for veg, with that light is 4 feet. Yikes!

Yeah I have moved my light up to just about 40" now, got the fans going too.. well see what happens. My plant is weird though, literally only one leaf has slight curl not the others so maybe it's deformed. lol. But I would rather be safe than sorry and just move my light up and adjust as needed.
