Think i have managed to salvage some kind of cure on these buds and have now got them in the jar with a nice big 60g Boveda and curing at a steady 62%.

For the last few days while waiting on my new Bovedas i managed to get the RH of the sealed jar of buds up from 28% to 38% using my old Bovedas (more about them in a bit) but no surprise buds still were solid but brittle, so pulled out the Boveda packs and for 48hrs used lemon peel changed 3 times this got the RH from 38% up to 69% then took out the peel burped the jar down to 60%, then put in some lettuce that held the RH at a steady 60%-65% with regular burping without the strong taste or smell of the lemon, i find lemon better for raising RH quick though just not used to for long. I was also rotating the buds in the jars 3-4 times a days to get the moist air inside them all.

The buds are now nice and dry without the brittle feel to them and feel right when you squeeze them with no crunching sound, a nice fruity aroma is starting to fill the jar now when you open it so am calling today day 1 of the cure, will weigh her up and get some photos once she has been in the jars with the Bovedas for a couple of days.

The main problem in all this seems to be my Boveda packs as upon receiving my new packs from Servovendi i noticed a big size difference in the 8g packs i got, the last time i purchased Bovedas was the first time i had used them and just assumed the vendor i bought them from would be selling what he claimed, but obviously not as what i have had all along are 4g packs that were sold as 8g lucky for me my TightVac jars were holding the RH well or they could have fucked up the cure on all my buds in storage, the ebay vendor is no longer selling them thank god but if you see any for sale by this vendor in the future be careful that they ship what they are advertising http://stores.ebay.com/Prissys-High-Society

Good luck on the cure. Tried to do a paper bag dry on my last grow. After 2-3 days they were like toast. Put them in jars and they were at 38% after about 8hrs. I added the bodeva packs and it came up to 62-65 by the next morning. 2 months later with burping etc. - the WW still smells and tastes like shite but the buzz is ok. Most of her has gone to the oil bin. The TS has kind of a fruity smell but she still tastes like shite, good buzz though - hits you hard on the first toke but doesn't seem to last long. Again good karma on the cure. She was a beauty - be a shame to waste her.

Thanks for the karma mate, fingers crossed they seem to in track to cure out fine now especially the dense buds (which is most of it) as they still were hard and had a good amount of moisture locked down deep inside them, rehydrating the buds seems to have been enough to pull that moisture back out into the rest of the buds and is holding there now the jar is @ 62% and starting to release a nice fruity aroma that was stronger this morning than it has been all grow.

Just been rotating the buds while burping the jar so managed to grab a few pics, smell is definitely stronger since RH stabilized like berries and gasoline.
