Day 17

Been a couple days of extreme heat and panic with the girl.

Firstly with a three day heat wave been battling to keep the temps in the comfort zone with the box peaking at 33c for a couple of hours a day and sitting at 29c-30c for the most of the day, even at 2am with the lights off for over a hour box temp was at 27c so not good fun, heatwave seems to have passed now and all is back to normal and being fair on the girl she took it really well and did not slow her down none, and showed minimal leaf curl.

Secondly i noticed some rusty patches on a leaf a three days ago, thought it was a bit early to be showing and deficencies more so since she has had a couple of feeds already, let it go another day and did not seem to spread at all but the following morning the same patches were on a few more leaves and then i noticed the leaf in the pics below that looked like it had been chewed on, upon having a good look over her i found what looks like the small moths you get on clothes and when i squashed it left the same powder that moths and butterflys carry on the wings. Gave her a good spray down with neem + citrus oil and checked the following day and the existing damage looked a little worse but no new marks have appeared but found another of the little moths, checked again today and no new damage and what was there has not got any worse, so heres hoping that i got it under control and that it was the moths causing it as i have never heard of moths eating plants and the larvae and i have checked her over several times and no sign of buds eating worms, so will have to wait and see.

Also caught sight of the first few tiny pistils today, so sex confirmed at day 17 and should have some clear pistil pics by the next update, if she has not been eaten by then.

Day 11 - Filtered Water 150ml
Day 12 - Filtered Water 100ml
Day 13 - Root juice 1ml/L + Grow 1ml/L + AlgaMic 1ml/L + calmg 1.2ml/L @ 250ml
Day 14 - Filtered Water 300ml
Day 15 - Filtered Water 500ml
Day 16 - Grow 1ml/L + AlgaMic 1ml/L + CalMg 1.2ml/L @ 1L

Hey pal, that update I could cut and paste for my own, very similar things going on,heat and moths,I ain't sure if they eat them but I found one and we'll after squishing it, a day or so later found like a red rash closer inspection seems to be eggs? Anyways what ever they were I just pulled the leaf and couldn't find anymore,your girl looks like she will power through it all, new growth looks super healthy,

The early ones could be end up as the Big Cola Pheno Spanglish. So far record keeper over here is the Supernatural Og Showed Sex day 15 and 16 ...them Mephistos are fast Autos 4 sure im Day 50 on the Supernaturals and already Cleansing them.

Yeah spend the whole winter wishing for higher temps and a but of sun, and then find yourself swearing about it getting to hot and bug invasions, just seems to be if it aint one thing is another. Really looked to be some kind of deficincy when it first appeared but just seemed way to early and the patches just looked to random, and after seeing that leaf edge in the pic the following day it just looked like something had been munching on it, cant think of any def that would cause necrosis that fast.

The moths are the only thing i have noticed out of place in there, have checked over and the rusty patches look to be in the leaf and dont seem to have any eggs or larvea, this was the first thing i checked after seeing the moths as i have had bud worm/moth larvae in the past and the damage they can cause is no fun at all but so far now all seems clean and looks good.

New growth is coming on great and she getting ready to take off real soon, with the help of a little bending and tucking managed to get a couple of new tops out of the mutant grow, onwards and upwards we go.

Am hoping so bro, the leaves are starting to show a nice chunky indica shape also, so keeping fingers crossed.

My last Sour Crack showed sex at day 14 which was by a long way the fastest auto i have grown, and now this girl at day 17 as you say these Mephisto girls are really something else when i comes to speed, day 50 cleanse on a bigger girl like a Supernatural is just insane, Mitch and crew are really bringing taking high quality fast autos to another level.

Thanks mate she has taken a bit of punishment but looks to have got through it now, touch wood. Thought she was gonna be a triple too but looks like to only be a double in the end, the third top lagged behind a bit but should be a nice side branch.

haha yep thats it we do sound like a bunch of girls with all the moaning, temps look to have settled down a bit now and have got rid of the moths, just got to remember to get the blinds down to cover the open window before it gets dark. Am not 100% it was them doing any damage as a day after getting rid the damage still appeared on some growth, but when i treated the Sweet Tooth for the cal def i treat the Deep Blue C as well and it has not seemed to have spread since.

So no more bitching and moaning for the time being, time to grow a pair and carry on with a smile on my face lol.

Day 23

Everything is back to normal and growth has just started to go into turbo mode starting her stretch and nice clumps of pistils appearing on every node. Not sure if it was the removal of the moths or the CalMg (am leaning more towards the second option) but no more patchy leaves and nice dark green new growth.

Have removed a few leaves that were touching soil and a couple more that where blocking out light from the inner bud sites, now time to sit back vape a hundred or so bowls and watch as she builds on that frame that should hopefully soon enough be supporting a few nice monster colas for my medicating pleasure.

Have also been hardening her off to the sun over the past three days and she has gone from 1hr out in the sun on the first day to 5hrs today and starting tomorrow will be left out for a full 8hr day.

Feeds (going full strength on all feeds now with CalMg every other feed, still currently taking 1L every two days but expecting to up that over the next couple of weeks to once a day as she gets a bit bigger and starts to suck the soil dry)
