Setup:
Gorilla grow tent 4x2x8
6 inch fan and filter combo with variac thermostatic speed controller
2 x 27l Exodus DWC buckets both with 2 6 inch air stones each
ISH 265 pro kit
Eti ph pal plus ph meter
Blue lab truncheon ec meter
Inkbird temp and humidity controllers
Fans and a heater

Nutrients
Rhizotonic
TNC Mycorr hydro (Similar to great white shark)
Megacrop 2.0
Rock resinator
Canna pk 13/14
Shogun Calmag

Strains - both photoperiods
Spliff seeds Purple berry kush
Spliff seeds spliff cheese

Ok so 1st round with this light was only ok but this was due to my incompetence!
Realised at the end of the grow that the voltage on the driver was turned down so I ran the light way underpowered maybe under 50% as I took a lux reading using an app and it was at 27000 lux at 9 inches, now at 9 inches it is now reading over 100000, I also had root rot issues just before flipping to flower, again my fault as i decided to try an air diffuser ring instead of air stones and didn't realise they got blocked real quick and my roots were sitting in stagnated water!

Anyway I'm determined not to make these errors this time and try to do this light justice!
So I germinated 3 days ago, I soaked Rockwall cubes in ph water with Rhizotonic and mycorr threw the seeds in, put in a tupaware box wrapped a towell round it and placed on my router, so far 1 kush and both cheese have sprouted with 1 kush to go, I will then choose 1 of each strain.

Nice, I use MC 2.0 and Canna PK 13/14 (it’s actually 10/11 tho) as well

I got some excellent results so far!

There were 17 autos in that tent at one point

I found 1/8-1/4 tsp per gallon of MegaCrop was good all the way thru veg for my passive and active hydro plants

Thanks for the tip, this will be my first run with mega crop but seeing all the awesome results from others and also your tent I had to give it a go!

Off to the best start I've had in a while
I chose my 2 to go into there buckets a couple days ago but I may have been a bit hasty as the second cheese looks great, she is still just in the tupaware box rooting in her rock wool cube, I think in future this will be my method as I think I put them in buckets to soon and i like the way the roots develop with this method, also just turned down the light as the app was reading 19000 lux and the cheese seems to shying away from it somewhat so now the lux is at 10000

Decided to swap out the cheese to the 2nd one, here are my final 2 girls for this grow, roots are in the res for the Kush and almost there for the cheese, a couple small brown spots appearing on the cheese which you cant really see in the pic but I'm not sweating it to much as this often happens on first set of leaves, shes also a bit pale but in the breeder notes it says she prefers a lighter feed so I don't want to up anything yet, will let her become a bit more established 1st and then see.

So I fooked up the cheese, burnt her up with my new heater
She stalled for a few days but shes now got going again all be it the first set of leaves are burnt to a crisp and 2nd set are not much better

Kush looks alot better and really happy with progress as she is flying along, thinking about ponytailing her as first 2 nodes have started growing

Been in the infirmary all this week with the cheese, she is not happy, she has been diagnosed with a phosphorus deficiency which seems weird so early in the grow as started from 1st leaves, I have decided to stop using the mega crop and changed the res to my old nutes, will try MC again but I need to pull this girl into shape otherwise I will be pulling her out the tent

Kush is looking a bit droopy and looks more like a cabbage or a lettuce at the moment, she is so squat and her nodes are so tightly packed that I had to remove the first 3 sets of fan leaves to get some lights to the nodes, this worked well and all the growth is happening at the nodes at the moment, I just need a few inches of stretch out of her now and she will be looking good I think, also changed her onto old nutes as easier to manage.

Finally starting to get on top of the phosphorus deficiency on the cheese, still getting yellow tips on the new growth so not fully gone yet I don't think but looking much better

PBK is still really squat but I like how she is shaping up, leaves are a bit twisted and tacoing a bit on both girls actually so I have dimmed the light a little and moved it up a few inches so hopefully this will promote some stretch and stop the tacoing

Cheese filling out, after trying to get healthy leaves it's now almost time to start removing them lol

Kush just seems to have stalled, she was just a Bush so I removed all the twisted up tangled leaves, got a bit carried away though!
