I cooked a couple sprouts the first time I got my LED. I was use to HPS/T5 where you want your light right up on the plants. Took a little getting use to for me.
Day 1 sprout
Day 3 water
Day 12 water
Day 17 water
Day 20 water
Day 24 water
Day 26 water
Day 28 water
Day 30 water
Day 32 water & grow big 1 tsp
Day 34 water
Day 37 water
As you can see I stretched a few water days and the plants hated me for it. Day 37 is today and they arent looking the happiest. starved and budding not a good combo..
Pic is maybe a week old, believe it or not the greenest plant is the runt, the other 2 stopped vigorous vertical growth since losing color (maybe deficiency or ph problems? Yellowing between green veins) They are all fed the same distilled water.
Hey dude, I'm still a newbie myself but I'm pretty sure you should have been feeding a lot more than once at 5+ weeks old even when using ffof soil. Most people start giving nutes after about 2 weeks and then feed like every other watering. "My 2 cents"
Yes you'd start feeding around week 2 or 3 normally. At this point you should alternate watering and feeding or do two feedings than plain water.
You' probably want to start hitting them with bloom nutes this week or next.
