Indoor storing seed question

I got my beans from attitude and 5 came in a small plastic container and the rest came in the usual little baggies, ( all inside the crush proof tin ). My question is if i can't germinate for a week or so do I have to store them a certain way to keep them fresh? Currently they're just sitting in the tin inside of a desk drawer. Id rather be safe then sorry please comment

I keep my beans in a plastic container with a little rice for moisture control and stick them in the veggie drawer of the fridge. Had beans stored like that for up to a year and their fine.

do they need to be in the fridge phoenix?

i currently have all my seeds in the tin can from attitude as well and inside the drawer.

im thinking that they will be fine as long as its a cool spot.

Defo need to keep cool. I'm a UK derp and i have a cool garage 20°c ish and have no probs germinating from there. Always keep beans away from light too THAT'S important. but idk that freezing is ok??

I put them in the fridge just to be safe herbal,if he's only waitin a week before he germs them storing in a desk drawer should be fine as long as its cool. Unless i'm going to germ them the day they come in i always throw them in the fridge just to play it safe.

I have a window air conditioning unit so I can keep my room in the 70-79 degrees area that should be safe right?

I'm sure you also have a fridge huh? Airing on the side of caution won't hurt but a cool dark desk draw won't either. Why chance it though? Slap em int' fridge lad
