Hello AFN crew,

I have one plant in my 6 bucket recirculating system that has some root issues. Those are being dealt with, however, it appears to have matured early; pistils brown and trichomes on lower buds having a good % of Amber. As you can see in the third pic, her identical clone growing right next in line is 100% fine.
My question is do I chop her because she looks ready even though it’s early? Has anyone run into a similar issue with plants in one system and one does this?
I didn't post in infirmary as the issue is being dealt with but if that's a better place it can be moved.
I thought it was pH issues and it was too late by the time I checked the roots (duh).
So what say you good people?

I have read that stress will cause a plant to mature more quickly. Similar to putting a stake through the stem late in flower which is supposed to speed up maturation .

Thanks! I'm gonna flush and harvest her in about four more days I think. Kinda early but I don't want the THC to degrade too much.

Looks like you getting an early smoke
There is that, but I wanted her to go longer. Oh well, now I know to check roots more often if I see an issue show up. First spider mites now this, I will be monitoring up and down from now on!!

Chop her and smoke her up, she looks tasty!

Fudge, I got something weird on the roots in the reservoir now, spring tails maybe I posted up in infirmary. So I'm treating roots and pests and will harvest this girl in the next couple days.

:jointman: Hey RG! ...yeeeeshh, I say let the trich's do all the talking... If she's showing that much amber on lowers, and uppers-? It's not uncommon for plants to ripen unevenly, but that's usually tops first, lowers lagging a bit... For sure, the root snafu was a factor, but then, when dealing with seeds and pheno's, it's also possible this is a faster one than typical,.. or both!
Being able to scope out the roots is a nice advantage that hydro has over other soil/soilless, and I suspect a fair number of the issues I see are linked to a root issue, but there's no way to tell directly,... often when possibilities have been hashed out, fixes tried, and the plant just won't respond, that's a final likely reason that remains unconfirmed unless it's so bad that the plant is scrapped and you can inspect the roots....
So, what's this about springtails? :yoinks:  I kid, I kid!... they are annoying, and no worse... IF that's what they are for sure? I'm pretty sure you know your common garden bugs,....:pass: I'ma go look now!

I have the same thing going on with one of my Sour Livers Auto from Mephisto one of them got stunted somehow and is around 2 weeks ahead of one in flower and then I have another one that is even further behind by about a week or week and a half. The stunted one has brownish stigmas that are retracting, buds look more amberish and is more swollen and developed than the other ones has had a few ambers for a while but not a lot. I have a grow thread if you want to see the size difference I have to prop her up a good 7 or so inchs to be on the same level as the other girls.

Thanks, I'll wander over and have a peek :toke:
