Hello e'rbody!

What strain is it?
La Diva

Is it Indica, Sativa or Hybrid?
Unsure, site says it a cross of Il Diavolovolaolo and a DJ Short Blueberry

Is it in Veg or Flower stage?
She sprang out of ground 9/12

Indoor or outdoor?
Inside

Soil or Hydro?
Soil

If soil... what is in your mix?
60% soil 40% perlite had soil compaction in past hoping this is cure

If soil... What size pot?
Tiny as it is a guerrilla stealth super ninja hidden itty bitty grow

Size of light?
Super cheap 10w and 20w COB LED (no name eBay)

Is it aircooled?
They have heat sinks and I'm blowing a pc fan at the big 1

Temp of Room/cab?
Room is effing freezing (thanks to wife) pc cabinet is around 72 with LED's running

RH of Room/cab?
RH adjusted for flowering my 1st bagseed plant at 40-50% will be addressed

PH of media or res?
Been fighting this one. PH meter says it is 7+ closing in on 8 I've tried lowering with vinegar (remember- super cheap ass grow here)

Any Pests ?
Retired Father in-law policeman!

How often are you watering?
Less this time as I probably over did it the 1st time around

Type and strength of ferts used?
I have inherited a bottle of Tiger Bloom and I have at my disposal a box of MG blooming plant food. Anyone with cheap knowledge please advise! I also bought a smaller bottle of FF grow big nute from eBay, a guy who breaks big bottles down to 4,6,8 ounce bottles to keep it cheap.

So, no real problems per se here at the moment more of a grow journal so that if I am doing something superfucked someone can catch me and put me back on course as I have never grown an Auto before. Once I find a smoke I really like I want to start breeding. I smoke so very infrequently right now its really more about growing than smoking and I am guessing it will be for quite awhile. BTW, I also have poppies going in this week as well as 17-20 lophophoro williamsii (Google it!) In the spring I have Morning Glory vines to put in. I must have 15 different pheno's of poppies BUT that's not what we are here to discuss.
Thanks for taking the time to read about my 1 silly plant. I look forward to learning much valuable info and I will post as many pics as is necessary to show er'body how badly I can screw something up!

So that is the box I built. Its fairly nice but its short! I have a photo bagseed flowering in there right now. She is about the end of week 2 of flower. That is my auto on her birthday, literally just swiped the remaining husk of the seed off of her. The 3rd is one of the COB LED lights I bought. I tell you for the $39 dollars getting a 10w and a 20w COB LED is not a bad deal atall. I dunno if it was the lights or the nutes (I hit this girl with some tiger bloom the same night I started using the LED) but this bitch has woke up and took off! I swear it has grown more in 3 days than the last 2 weeks. I look forward to watching my Diva plant do the same knowing that she'll probably be done about the same time, crazy just thought about that. These eBay COB LEDs were really worth it. The only bad was the wait (from china, it took a couple weeks) and the fact that it said hydroponic grow light on THE OUTSIDE of the box! Other than that, man what a good deal for a small grow like this. I may get 2 more and still be under $100 for lighting (free shipping)

Welcome to AFN AKU I'm sure you gonna feel a t home, some nice folks with good vibes and all the help you need from a knowledgeable bunch of growers.

Love a PC grow and all things stealthy, I'll sure to stay tuned.

Nice to an airy soil mix, I like mine airy as well, bit more watering but the roots love all the extra oxygen.

It is good to let your soil go through a wet/dry cycle as the soil dries the ph will go up and make the mag more available (good to have some epsome salts or cal/mag as LED auto's need more )
Looked at these cobs some while back for a various projects nice to see one in a case.

If temps get any colder adding a CFL will help plus can't hurt having more light (cool white/daylight in veg and warm white in flower).

An alternative is to use one of the ultra thin reptile heat mats, which will stick right on to the side of the case.

I'm guessing your PH probe is a passive stick probe for soil (non-battery powered)?

PH for soil should be between 6.2 & 6.8 , 6.5 being optimum, PHing your water each time is the way forwards . A bottle of PH up & PH down is a fiver £% online from hydrostore (also buy some syringes to dose it). PH pens can be bought for a fiver £5 upwards (might not be the best meter in the world, but you can always buy better bit by bit). You can get a PH pen, EC meter (show nutrient strength, no good with organics) ans a hygrometer (temp and humidity) for 20 Quid (£20) on amazon.

Good luck also with your peyote , not a poppy fan, opiates just aint my bag.

If you go back to the post with you pic and click edit post , you can then double click the pictures and select full size and click ok.
Keep them pics coming just love to see loads of pic of our favorite plant :)

It's great your growing an auto for the first time, I'm sure you'll like them as much as us.

In now way do I consider your plant silly, quite the opposite, it is a plant you're growing for your own pleasure and the first one you are sharing with us on AFN.

Got to love the cheap as chips vibe it is amazing what can be done on a shoe string budget and a little ingenuity.

Here is the gentics of you La Diva this was copied and pasted from "Seedfinder.EU" and is a great place to look up strains , here is a link to the La Diva page http://en.seedfinder.eu/strain-info/La_Diva/Delicious_Seeds/

The baby looks good. Autos tend to be cal/mag hogs especially under LED. You can try just using Epsom Salts and unsulfured molasses about 1/4 teaspoon of each per quart of water (I would give it bout 3 out of 4 waterings or so).

Since this is a guerilla grow you will need to do something about odor control on your exhaust. Just my 2 cents

Good luck

Wow Arty, thanks for the info! I mean wow that's a very in depth chart. Are the breeders making their records public or have they been DNA decoded? Yes my Ph meter is a double stick (passive) its a light and moisture meter as well. I have a temp and RH meter I keep in the case.
Oldster- Ya, the smell is a concern. I have (had to) purchased an activated carbon furnace filter which I proceeded to hack up and zip tie to the outside of both of the exhaust fans of the "pc". It helps but every now and then I get a strong whiff of that sweet smell. Luckily, it is local to our bedroom which is never, ever entered by anyone but us. I am however worried about La Diva as I am hoping there is about 20x as much flower material on her as on my photo. I'll have to address it as it comes.
What a huge learning process. I have rebuilt this PC 4 times already. Transplanted my experimental photo 3 times, once because of soil compaction, changed lights and nutes twice and played with watering schedules non-stop. I really dig the process. If I find I just can't smoke anymore (from anxiety) I'll probably still grow as I have friends that rely on certain benefits of our beloved plant as well. So this is the beginning of a lifelong task that I am sure to enjoy.

While I am on strong pain meds, the poppies are for my folks. I am going to try and get them some relief from their arthritis with very very very mild brews of pod tea or another version, whichever is easiest to level out the dosage. In the long run I may rely on them as well (believe me anything is preferable to the BS that comes along with being prescribed long term strong pain meds). I am hoping the cannabis does the trick if I can just get past the wired panic attack like feelings I get when I smoke anymore. I haven't smoked in a few months and won't until La Diva here is dried and cured.

Hi Aku,
Here are a couple of threads to check out for your parents. Osteoarthritis (assuming that this is the type they have) is caused by calcium buildup in joints which in turn is caused by low body pH. Baking soda and magnesium chloride can work together to help reduce the calcium buildup. Take a look at these 2 links. While they should check with their doctor first, this can really make a difference without having to rely a muck on pain meds

Thank you, I will dig into those links thoroughly.

Wow, dunno what I copied and pasted in here but Whoa! Sorry bout all that.

Anyway, what I meant to post was that I felt a few things warranted being purchased even though it is a super cheapie grow as they will benefit my subsequent non-supercheapie grows as well. A good compo-soil mixture with some added ingredients, a water bubbling system, and a better Ph system for water testing. Most of this was from a post by PD(?) I think, talking about great yields from small pots which currently is suiting myself perfectly, so I am trying to replicate his/her recipe as closely as possible. So I will be beginning the super-water (oh and I bought 4oz of FF grow big from the eBay guy that sells splits of FF nutes) this week and next week its into the super-Ferrari soil.
