To use rosin in a cartridge, it must be winterized. If not, the fats and lipids will clog the coil of your cartridge before its empty...wasting your liquid gold.

Thanks mate, I haven't revisited this subject for a while and that is some helpful information for me to think about. I've been subconsciously weighing up alternative extractions and haven't decided which route to go down when I eventually start. Possibly alcohol extraction if I can find a reliable cheap option in Spain. But I haven't found out where I can get it yet or in what form

Get a set of heat plates and a press and go solvent free. I do a single low temp press and consistently get 20% return. The leftover pucks can be used to make canna oil for edibles.

I'm afraid my budget just ain't set up for heat plates and a press at the moment! Maybe after a few grows I'll have a bit more cash behind me but at the moment that's a no go
