They look awsome pal! I think the LED will do just fine. adding the Hps would be over kill for not much more of a return and plus if you dont have a cooltube you might not want to have to hassel with temp at this point and risk possible stress. i think 2 Gn's is plenty enough light! :thumbs:

That's what i'm thinking, i've only ever flowered with these leds so I know they can produce a fair amount, but usually i veg them with one and add another for extra flower power, whereas this time i used both units from the start to get them vegged nicely - i feel bad abut not giving them extra light for flowering! I may rig it all up once day soon and see what the temps are like but it's just in a warm room in my house and not a lot I can do about it

Hey pal. How is your temps now? Is it still 27-30 in there? If u start up the 600 it will get hot. I think I have 26-27 lights off and With 400w (like i have it for the last 2-3 weeks) I hit 32c. .. With 600 u will have a sauna. You could try to start it up and see where the temps land... but I guarantee It will be hot . Don't you think your leds will be enough? Your ladies looks awesome!

It all depends on the outside weather tbh, the room that my tent is in us under constant sun all day long so it's warm in there to start with. If I keep my tent open slightly I get it to sit at 25/26 without too much trouble with both LEDs on. I've only ever used these units to grow with so I know they can produce, I'm just eager to achieve a nice yield here and with a 600w HPS just sat there in a box I feel I should utilise it during flowering to get these girls nice and chunky.
I think with a cool tube it MIGHT just work but I may have to remove an LED as a compromise - soon as I get the cooltube I can do the test and let you know how it goes Thanks for stopping in!

That sounds like a plan. A good plan, hopefully with a cool tube it's doable. I watch your diary all the time so if you starting up a 600 in there I won't miss it

Day 31

So until I get the cool tube here's another update. The girls are doing fine despite one of the modules on my Ms006 giving up this morning, just didn't turn on with the rest. I've noticed their pots drying out a bit faster these days which means they're drinking more. 2L feeds give quite a lot of run off, 1.5L feeds just a tiny amount and 1L feeds no run off. I judge what to give them by how dry the soil feels - they got a 1.5L feed today.

Haha, don't worry about it brother - I was due a slip up! No I've not contacted them yet as I'm adamant abut getting the HPS in there at some point so that will more than make up for the loss I've heard nothing but good things about GN customer service so I'm sure they'll get it sorted for me when I get around to it.

Day 34.

So tomorrow is the start of week 6 and they'll get switched over to bloom. For now they've just received their last veg feed, 1.5L each, 2ml Grow, 2ml Root Stim, 1.5ml Bio Silicon, 1.5ml Bio Wetter, 1/2 tspoon Epsom Salts. They've both still been stretching nicely, #1 sits at 25" from the soil and #2 at 24" - both seem content for now
