Got a few more bud shots from this evening, thought i'd share them ^^ SD is still winning on frost density and MS is winning on coverage, the trichs go further up the leaves whereas SD frost is quite concentrated which is nice. SD leaves are still all green, nice and lush no signs of deficiency still..phone camera isn't picking it up well but the subtle grey/purple hues are visible to the naked eye on the tips of the buds. MS has a few leaves on the main cola getting a hint of purple but as far as I can tell the buds are still green. Will keep updating as they change, we're well into flowering now so let the magic happen..

Hey guys, as always I've got more pictures to upload MS res had risen slightly again since yesterday so I've set her back at 1.6 (2.0 total). I will push her to 1.8 on PK/full boost week (next monday). SD still nice and moist so nothing new to report. I love going to check on my girls and the smell from the three of them combined is just awesome..fruit fruity dank.

Can you recognise any specific aromas on MS? I know how SD smells

tried to get a trich shot as well but I really need a better scope, at least you can see how think in frost she is!

I got one of these http://www.amazon.co.uk/Veho-VMS-004-Discovery-Microscope-Magnification/dp/B002JCSCYI and love it. With little patience you can take great macros :thumbs:

Stone that microscope looks awesome, may have to invest in a few weeks when I can afford it My palette is quite limited so I'm not the best to pick out specific aromas, I can however compare the two strains..bare in mind every day that I go into the tent they switch it up, one day one will smell more sweet and the other more dank then the next day it's reversed. You can definitely tell SD was used to create MS as they are quite close on scent. Today SD is the muskier smell, still sweet but kind of like sherbert. MS smells a lot sweeter today but I can't pick up it - perhaps lemony/pine kind of sweet. Both very nice anyway and can't wait to try them.

SD - You can see some colour coming through on the buds just slightly, gets a little stronger each day. She had another basic feed today: 1L water 2ml Bloom 1.5ml PK booster 3/4 teaspoon epsom salts.

MS - she didn't seem to like any higher than 1.6 (2.0 total) but still looks hungry for cal/mag. So what I've done is remove 1L from the res and added 3L back in total of plain water, however in the third litre I mixed in another 5ml of Calcium and Magnesium to give her a boost at an ec where she is happy. I have mentioned somewhere else in the thread that I'm new to these nutes and they are quite concentrated so I don't want to over do it, a 5ml dose of both cal and mag will raise EC by .2 so once you take the dosage up you're looking at a big EC jump. Small areas or purple are visible on some leaves but the buds still look green to me as expected by mr Stone himself, a few pistils are starting to get darker now too - but only just, same for SD.

Yep, more photos yet again Just tent shots today..

MoonStone still happy as can be at 1.6 EC (2.0 total) and the cal/mag issues don't seem to be getting any worse which is good. SD had another 1L feed today, 2ml Bloom, 1ml Pk Booster, half teaspoon Epsom Salts.
