I have looked into that and although its all logical that doesn't mean their are things we still don't know. Remember everyone knew the earth was the center of the universe until they were proved wrong. I am not saying that this guy is from the future but I have always believed in alternate realities and time lines and I like to keep an open mind when it comes to "fact".
It's just odd to me that he can't be disproved by anything more then a scientific THEORY. It's also odd that patents have been filed in 2004 I believe for the time traveling technology he spoke of.
I agree with you to a point. Theory is something that can't be disproven, you are looking to have someone disprove something that is not even a theory, it's just a guy claiming something. Like if I were to say Unicorns exist, you have to now prove me wrong. Which is obviously impossible, because there either is evidence, or no evidence.
There are plenty of theories that are pretty much fact, electricity and gravity. We know they exist, and work, just don't really know the mechanics. The earth being round was only a theory as well, and wasn't proven until someone went to space and observed that the earth was round.
Alternate realities, or time lines, is a really cool theoretical quantum mechanics theory. An always interesting read is the Quantum Suicide Thought Experiment. Alternate universe also quantum mechanics. All these things are pretty much mathematically valid theories, but different scientists have competing theories.
I'm just trying to say there is just so much fascinating stuff that we really know about, like mind melting stuff, that when fantasy gets in the way, and taken as fact, it dilutes the coolness of the stuff we do know.
And I'll just end with this... Best TV show, Through The Wormhole with Morgan "I am God" Freeman.
