so seed straight to soil and water, with or without light?
wow never thought of that, figured that it was on bleached paper and sterile(bleach evaporated out cite discovery chan.). otherwise organic DAMMIT

will be going from soak to soil from now on, clean =)
btw 90% sure theres something wrong with the distilled water i bought, wont go generic next time and will go trusty name brand.
distilled water keeps around high 6s 6.7-6.8 but 6 PPM:scope: vs tap with purifier 7.1-7.2(tops) with 115 ppm
was starting to think it was my meter but really think its the water, and they used a alt. cheaper distillation method is accounting for the non-7 ph
anyone care to speculate?

Kat's right. It's not needed, but I believe most of us just put them under your standard cycle when we plant. I do. Keeps them warm and I start plants with other plants already going. And when they sprout they already have light available.

thanks both of you, oh squid found out that it wasnt the water it was my PH meter got uncalibrated some how, water :check: and a okay 7 on the $. picked up some fugi and bact. root stim. from the hydro shop =) will do the photo update (any specific requests just speak up)Kat's right. so much for am done right..... having some temp issues with the this seasons weather =(, i was worried about it being to hot, but looks like i have the opposite problem its been a task and a half trying to keep the atmosphere in the mid 70s running hours wise, =( looked the other day light time outside and it was in the 60s! (1LED on)in the Room really hoping they dont stunt or hermie (got my space heating running now), btw pretty much giving up on the BUB seeds, with the rate they've been acting itd be just as long as a photo just for the 2 bubs, even if they were viable in the 1st place.
anyone's take on this? really looking for input.
pure store bout natural spring water, (7.0 in, 7.4 out with a lil soil in it) on jiffy pots, not sure if passing threw the peat cup has some effect on the ph or the lil soil in the test. btw i do have a soil probe tester aswell as a ph pen (redundancies,

btw hereby dub my 1 born, Adrian. since he took a beating and keep on going, figured if i called it rocky itd be a jinks for a Hermie.

pic 1 and 2 "Adrian" 4 days old from original plant, (idk how to cal the fall into it)pic 3 tent temps right on soil level. hum is hi since lights are off, i leave a small cup in there next to pot so light hits it, heats up and discharges water vapor into the air right past the girls! before planting i tested the empty tent, and around really low 12-18%(H.S. science class might actually pay off) {btw them/hydro meters(x3) is reset everyday or every-other to get more precision)
barely 24hours old in 5 gal right after germ, already 4 leaves
i know that they are plant and cant rush mother nature but i think i was expecting something a lil more Pop (dont wanna say the Exp. word these days even online)
sorry im stressing its just combo of first grow,results orientation person, and chronic medical condition that is only helped with MMJ. on top of around 1500 in grow stuff on a college budget. you could say i have a lot riding on these little girls.
oh mystery mids bag seeds im giving up on and tossed`em, rather use the soil. and just run the 3 BM in there, and wait and see on the 2 bubbleicious seeds and wtf they do.

Anywho, my BDM's sat there for a little bit too, like they were thinking up a growing strategy of their own. All of a sudden, BOOM, big bursts of growth all over everywhere!! Just sit back and relax, they'll do their thing in a bit!!!

found the strangest thing today, okay since the bubs havent poped soil and approaching day 6 night cycle, so i grabbed the small pot and started to lights scrap away soil to seed WTF happened or is going on with it, and go down 1/8 then a 1/4 in and im like WTF man, what happen to the seed i know i put one in here, so i keep going about 1 1/2 inches still nothing
, so i say F pleasantries,and really start searching get down to almost the bottom of the jiffy starter pop about 4 inches down and i see a weird root cluster (curly)and the yellow/green baby all the F-ing way on the bottom of the pot! :jaw:WTF
you guys ever here of a strain that grows from the bottom to top instead of popping soil then going down?
or maybe water carried the seed down?, but i dont see how it carried through 4in of straight mix
ideas anyone, ive yet to hear anything like this before i started my grow, ideas? its okay to speculate
i left the 5gal alone "JIC", by the way
Just regrabbed a reed(like bamboo, or scent diffusion stick) and light put the soil over the top lil water and see what it does, its outta my hands now.
oh btw my new >48hours BM in 5gal, is just as big now as the "Adrian" plant WOW, i retract what i said before, i think kat and squid are GL or their Zen is helping :thumbs:
side note: Vortex and Phresh came in :booya:, just need a variable transformer now to adjust speed
