Hello all, I was brought here by another member, I know a few here I believe.
I've got plenty of photo experience and very limited auto experience. I'm hoping to improve my auto skills as I have had very poor results so far indoors (1-8 gr/plant). I look forward to learning and picking some brains. If anyone can steer me in the right direction, or possibly help me personally, I would really appreciate it! Look forward to being around and hopefully I'll learn what I need to know to be successful indoors :)

Ive some advice for you bud. Tell all the guys here your setup nutes medium strains ect. I know there is lots of great auto growers that'll give you a hand. Welcome to an awesome site. Which strains were you running for autos?

I feel your pain, I thought I knew how to grow because Ive been an outdoor grower for years, but indoors is a totally different nut to crack. I'd have been lost without AFN. Keep reading those grow journals, they have a lot of the answers you'll need, and start one of your own and state your intentions like what medium you are growing in, the strain you'll be growing lights, nutes ect so folks can advise you. Good luck.
Grow well, be happy!

My current specs:
2'×4'×5' tent
6" Vortex S-line extracting outside, passive intake... negative pressure in the tent.
I have a 14" oscillating fan for air movement
temps top out @ 84, low of around 72
347w t5 6 bulb rig, veg with 2 6700k and 4 colormax, bloom with 3 colormax and 3 agromax pure bloom
I do a mixture of hempy, 100% perlite and dwc when the space is available.
I have standard Lucas formula nutes, calmag +, Protekt, and then the AN sensi coco series, with Voodoo Juice, B-52, Big Bud, Overdrive and Flawless Finish.
I have RO capabilities, but my tap is .2 EC out of the faucet and levels out around 7.1 after 24 hr evap so I have dropped the RO for the time being (I'm running photos in the space currently)
If I've left anything out, please let me know.

ignore the grip of seedlings in the 10L, those are the autos that I most recently stunted.

*e2a I ran Buddha Seeds Deimos and White Dwarf, along with a bunch of Diesel Ryder crosses from far north

Hmm I do wonder what went wrong with the last grow bud! Seems like the setup is pretty sweet though I have no idea how t5's perform, and your mediums are alien to me. I am a complete indoor auto rookie so I shouldn't offer any advice to you, but a couple of gentlemen I know here should be able to help you out. @briman @Fairlynew @atrain @dankstyle J @Rebel

Come on guys, lets make FootHillsFarmer's autos kick ass!

I know nothing of dwc or hydro or passive hempy buckets...I don't know what it is I have seen 1 or 2 hempy grows that were nice but most were stunted and suffered horribly.... I see some in soil and you use AN line as I do too.... I used a t5 hood once and grew 3 very nice plants under it but I incorporated side cfl to help it out ...... so here's my BEST advice to help if you want to grow autos...

They don't like transplanting that much so chose what size pot you want to run germ the seed and go directly into that pot....

After they reach day 10 start them on a light dose 1ml/L of the AN line run the vodoo 2 weeks then drop it until flower.

Once they are established like day 14 or so move the t5 hood down close.... like 3 inches close... make the plant develope lots of large fans to spur more photosynthesis and really accelerate the growth... then begin to move the hood up and let the plant stretch to the light..

Later add in some sort of side lighting to help the t5 out a bit.... 2700k cfl works great.... once the plant stops stretching move the hood in close like 1 or 2 inches place a fan across the top to help cool but there is no too close with t5 as long as it's not touching

That's all I got bubba hope it helps

Buy a 300 watt led galaxy hydro style light incorporate in with t5. A 300 watt light can be had on EBAY for 75 US with free shipping 84 degrees is great with leds and soil less mix with out vermiculite like pro mix HP or sunshine mx#4. I am a firm believer in bud factor x and BUD candy I almost use the grand master growing level of advanced nutrients and sensizym b52 voo doo. I would invest in root pouches or airpots 15 liters. You have a strong inline fan for exhaust and passive intake maybe invest in duct fan for some venting to make sure you have good solid air exchange too. I hope some of this helps. Any questions fire away bro. sorry I do not grow DWC
