Im looking for a step by step guide starting with building a base soil then adding vegan nutrients and mineralsto suit the needs of a cannabis plant
Basicaly how to build soil from scratch +prepearing iit
What type of teas to use and how frequent should they be used
How to brew teas what do i need

Have a look over at Kushman's forum. He is big into veganics and answers questions personally.

Yeah i was browsing over on his siteand a load of others lastnight Im currently usingbiobizz nutrients and i think their veganic and nutrients come from sugar beet
No matter what i type into google search i cannot find any liquid forms of veganic nutrients ive asked it in some many ways its unbrlieveable that i cant find nutrient suppliers i have always had this problem trying to find nutrients for cannabis plants the search results hardly ever lead me to a supplier or product how do you guys find nuytients
I would like to browse at nutrients and maybe pick one for my next grow but cant seem to find luquid forms only showing hiw to build a soilmix from scratch hence my original post
Also wondering can hydro nutes be used as a soil drench?

Well Im not a veganic grower per say really.I understand natural to a point. But yeah Ive never built an truly Vegan Mix from scratch so Im useless there.A more purely organic mix Id be more than happy to help you build man.But im not familiar with a ton of products.Just what I use but am familiar with many.

I might look into natural pressing of fruits for juices, pulps and even start a clean compost pile for cultures n such. That should be fairly easy id imagine if yer a Vegan.Rice wash maybe and you can take a peek around here if ya'd like too.

Thats the soil Kushman likes outta the bag anywho.or used to anyway..lol.

I hope these give ya a fair place to start dude...soils are fairly straight forward i think just keeping it as pure and alternative as possible I feel it'll lack slightly as Kyle himself says as well. But the tatse it supposed to be heavier and nicer than even organics...or so Im told.

A4 will prolly know a bit bout that though..dudes a wizard man with the local natural stuff man.But again its very different and lifestyle chosen imho to use a grow style like that man so depends on where and what your trying to achieve, depends on whats avalaible. But local farmers, feed n mill shop ,ya know places such as that even tractor stores in some areas too.so keep a vigilant eye when cruising around and stop and ask a few questions."AFN smoke out"Sorry I dont know more about it man.

Kelp meal, alfalfa meal, alfalfa pellets, humus, cottonseed meal, Gypsum, azomite, green sand, rock phosphate, and those are the amendments I can think of that are definitely veganic. I've been wondering lately if castings, and other composted wastes from vegan eating creatures(like insect frass *thanks EoF*) are considered veganic. At any rate making a soil with these amendments and then using them to make teas seems to be the best bet but I'm not completely sure how balanced that is in terms of short vs long acting and from the perspective of N-P-K. Sorry if nothing here is any help and turns out to be an easy way to sub the thread :(

I think maybe veganics isn't quite suited for long term storage in liquid state without adding some types of preservatives to the mix. I could be absolutely wrong here but I would assume that they would spoil quite quickly. I also think veganics is more a philosophy of sustainable, earth friendly nutrients that are more of a replication of mother nature so like medi said, it is going to be a mixture of different meals and minerals. My mix that I referred you to originally is almost completely veganic with the exception of the crab and fish meal which can be substituted.

Using any chemical nutrients as soil drenches is going to cause a problem with the biological activity in your soil. I would recommend trying to find natural amendments that can be added to the soil throughout your grow if you are looking for something for soil drenches. SST, ACT and such are going to be your friends when growing any type of organic or veganics. It is a must. Also, the more times you use your soil, the less you are going to have to amend it. As the biology continues to build your soil will work better and better for your plants. So your goal is to never throw your soil away after using it, keep a large container to put it in, let the roots feed the microbes, keep it moist and put it back to use as soon as is feasible. This will continue the life cycle of the soil. So any form of chemical nutrients is going to give your soil problems in the long run with salt build up, pH balance and microbiological activity. The last being the most important in my humble opinion because that is what we are striving for, to develop the soil not the plants. The soil will develop the plants.

I found this one last night kush, http://www.purelifeveganix.com/

I know nothing about them but their products are on sale at one of the online grow shops I use.

There is nothing "natural" about veganics. All life is symbiotic. Dead animal, fish and insects are all part of the natural order, and are just as vital to the total make up of soil as anything else. Hey! fungi are not plants so lets eliminate them too. To me it makes about as much sense as this woman I saw on the show: "wife Swap". She was a hardcore vegan but she decided that if she went out every morning and stood in the sunlight, eventually she wouldn't need to eat anything..........Hope that worked out for her........

It is not my goal to persuade or dissuade anyone from any system of growing they choose nor debate what is natural and what isn't. I am here to help people grow, regardless of what method they choose. There are many different paths one can take to achieve the same goal. In the end that path is up to each individual.

That being said, Prahlad Jani hasn't ate or drank anything in 70 years. Some things are beyond what our minds are capable of comprehending so let's not be so quick to be sarcastic.
