The server is hosted with a friend of mine in a safe data centre where we can operate legally. We used to be hosted in Amsterdam but that host was bought out by a US parent.

I don't want to get into too much detail in public but I can pm who ever if they want to know.

I keep us in the proper jurisdictions. I will say not even close to US soil.

When I get around to it we will be hosted in the cyber bunker.

These days it's hard to stay anon. We can only do so much to protect yourself.

I hate to say we are 100% secure because some one always knows more than you when you admin.
But I do take everyone's safety seriously.
Any concerns can be brought directly to me. Or if you can offer some advice I am open ears.

My vision is to have a paid membership level that has space to store vids and all that. With upgraded storage.

Id also like a i2p version of afn. Or host the web server behind i2p. I2p is like tor but better imo.

Also thought about encrypted email service. But we'll see.

I'm sold on the AFN security. I wasn't when I came here. I didn't understand the set up. Or know anything really about it. I like it that way and don't ask questions that don't pertain to meds and growing meds. You, AndyBotwin, SonofHobbs, and others behind the scenes built my confidence through explanations and just the way you operate. It doesn't happen often but I've seen mods suggest someone was giving too much info. or such.
