Okay, back again....
Stickbro' :smoke: you crazy ol' hippy! Remember the pics from the thread that got term'ed the next day? (at least that's where I think I saw them,... LOL! I went a little bat-shit for a minute there trying to find them, then remembered "duh, this missing thread!"!) I mentioned what I thought was suspect leaves way down low in that last pic... these were the 'brown lines', right? running parallel to some heavier rib-veins...? The spinosad should tune those little f*ckers up, nicely! :roflcry:
Stick, don't you have wolverines, great grey owls, and
all kinds of other interesting wildlife where you're at? Coyotes, like deer, have become larger forms of rats around here, and so many other places these days it seems,.... LOL! having them around doesn't mean one sees them, though! It took only 30 years before I saw that ferret!
The ambient air temps are still in the low to mid 40s at night, but I think I have plenty of heat sink mass in the hoopy, with the hot tubs and the 50 gallon water barrel.
Wow, still? With the solstice 2 steps away now? I gather you're at some elevation, then...

Bless that Hoopy and heat sink's! LOL! **** no worries about the beans, mate! I think even if you miss some strains, other fine candidates will fill in right behind them, plus who knows whose hoarding what around here! The list of things I'd love to try is still about 30+ strong.... Whaddya gonna do, eh?
I did zip by your thread to see the new pics, and the bud formation looks good so far, but that giant stem stretch is a trip!.... I'll bounce over there shortly...
We are getting the privilege of paying our dues. That puts things in their proper perspective. All of these fine Master Growers had to start at ground zero also. Some of the finest growers’ state that their first grows were less than favorable, but all say the same thing, that they are so glad they stuck it out. Actually how could one not, as it is so addicting.
That is well said, and gospel truth my friend! I do try to keep that in mind, however I may grouse about results and such,... Indeed, many of the sensei's here were paying their dues during the truly stone age times of auto development! Things aren't so bad now, and getting better all the time! Consider all the $$ and effort that's being focused on autos these days, from Big Hat places like Dutch Passion to independent Super breeders like Aunty Mossy, Cres, and many others just here alone...

I'd love to make a career of this somehow, someway, but even if you attend Oaksterdam Univ., the only way to learn is to 'do', and boy is it fun- usually! Success tastes all the sweeter for having taken some beatings along the way...
Yes the whole crew got a taste, even the girls in the tent. When I read what you wrote concerning the sugar residue on the leaves, it was like duh Stick, just how stupid can you be? Come one and all you critters, the buffet is wide open for your dining pleasure. Another thing to mark off the list of things NOT to do.
Aw, c'mon now Stick, you saw how well they reacted to that super-juice,... imagine if you put Superthrive in there too! They'd have kick down your door that night and demanded seconds! As long as the leftover residues get rinsed off within a day or so, weather depending, I think the occasional 'treat' is a good thing! besides, with the fish emulsion in there, many bugs might be repelled by that mixed in with the molasses.... ditto for the superthrive! B-vit's smell sooo gnarly!!
Mmmm, garden fresh goodness! Soul satisfying in more ways than one, huh! :edible:
That is a true love of a hobby, I feel, because it's such a battle with the vermin for possession of the goods,...I continue to be amazed at your efforts Stick-stud! .... I do remember you mentioning your lovely wife's health concerns,...it sorrows me to hear she's having such a rough go these days... best wishes to you both for her to stay happy and comfortable for as long as possible

My fortune in beyond reckoning with my Dad being as otherwise healthy and able as he is all things considered, and my care-taking is a cake-walk compared to what so many others have on their plate,...
Don't forget that DE, mate! And wear a mask when spreading it around,... Hey, I was wondering, since it's such a weird textured powder, if something like a big flour sifter would good for this task,...maybe pick a cheap one up at the store and find out! Okay, off to the next thread, I think.... LOL!
Peoples, I'll post the responses from Muddy-san and Mr. NS tomorrow, along with other bits and pieces of news....
