Hi guys
I currently have a grow tent down stairs which is great but when visitors come round we have to keep people out of that room telling people it's a mobile wardrobe with air con seems a bit far fetched but it's worked up to now ,
So currently I'm in the process of building a grow room in the attic nice big space so I can grow more plus it's out of site .
Now I plan to grow my autos up there plus a few photos in a grow tent , the autos I'm not going to grow in a tent just in the room so my question is what would be the best way to coat the walls i.e. Bog standard white emulsion or a white pva paint or any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated .

Many thanks
Snow

I did this I like it very reflective and mold and mildew resistant

One thing to toss out that I wish I'd read before I grabbed a gallon of paint from the hardware store while remodeling my closet into a grow space is that a flat white is supposed to reflect better than a semi-gloss or gloss. I went with a semi-gloss white paint on all the walls that works well enough, but when I read up on it after the fact the glossy part that looks shiny to us actually costs some PAR in the reflectivity so flat white is supposed to be better.

Thanks mate I'm glad I asked the question

tests have been done and in theory best to worst is.diamond mylar, standard mylar, the black one side white the other side stuff.flat white paint.
i had thought a mirror reflected a lot but thats wrong absorbs a lot, also the dull side of kitchen foil reflects more than the shiny side but still worse than flat white paint.
:pighug:

I second either diamond mylar or original mylar. I run original but am dying to switch to diamond. And its fairly cheap which is a great factor also
