Weird sticky "Oily/slimy drops" on buds/leafs HELP!

Hello,

Very weird problem I'm having... tried to google this with 0 success.

I have weird shiny sticky slimy looking things on some of my leafs and buds.
When i touched it, it sticks to my fingers like glue looks yellowish...

Anyone know what this is? Infestation of some sort? I'm harvesting them in 2 days.

Both plants are day 90

Should I wash my buds off before drying or apply something?

dude its harmless had it happen to me a few times its taste very sweet think its a over production of sugar but totally harmless just cure as normal

Looks like a lot of over sugaring though.... but if you guys say so I believe you.

Will it disappear after drying or do I need to take a paper towel and clean it off?

I just left mine but it cant do no harm to gently wipe it off very nice looking buds by the way

Taste it, touch it. If sweet and/or not oily, it's likely just concentrated plant sap (sugar-laden water leaking from phloem or xylem). If it''s oily, it's likely oozing resin. Whatever a cannabis plant secretes or excretes is not going to be toxic to humans. Many cannabis terpenes and resins are toxic to insects, and that's part of why the plant secretes them.

It's just plant sap I wouldn't even worry about trying to wipe it off

I had some on a Red Poison. tasted like candy so I licked it off....mmmm good lol.

Cyklos- ...yup, it's very likely just carbo-loaded sap, basically,... I'm curious, are you using a carbo' product, or molasses? As suggested, do the taste test to confirm there's sugar in there; resins don't ooze out from tips of things like that,...trich's can become so densely packed and fat-headed, resins can "crust" over some, like in really good hash plants,....be sure to give her nothing but water for a week or so, forcing her to deplete inner stores of nute's and energy sources,... makes for better quality smoke!
