Lighting What can I do with Cree?

I am close to the place they make the leds and my friend works there give me a list for a 500w full spec grow light.All cree parts.

Cree have especially efficient LEDs and they stock a range of colour temps up to (and perhaps beyond) 100w cob. Cxb 3590 for the moment is the bad boy. Check out Growmau5 on YouTube. Sick.

Heres what goes into the amare solar spec 450.

It uses a mixture of cobs and monos.
Going with just cobs would make a diy job much easier.
Also the cxb 3070s in this could be upgraded to cxb 3590s. There could be newer crees than that by now im not up to date

Depends on what parts they are. The Cree cxb3590 was the big player in the COB game a year ago but now they are just over priced and under perform compared to other COB's on the market.

Strange as far as I knew the top bin LEDs from Cree out performed citizen and vero in efficacy and PPFD. I stand corrected.

We are starting to discover that "top BIN' doesn't mean a whole lot to plants. Also note not all COB makers "BIN' their chips.
