It's almost that time of year again, and each day that passes the anticipation builds !

With 4-20 being just a little closer each day, I thought now would be a good time to ask - what does 420 mean to you ? Does it have any significance at all ?
Is it a day you let yourself "abuse" your Meds a little ?

Or maybe a day to splurge at the dispensary ?

No matter your preference - I'd be thrilled to have you share your

4/20 means alot to me as it's the annual day for something a feel so passionate about but is also the day my daughter was born and if she was born an hour later she would have also been born at16.20 all together an amazing day
I arrange a night in with friends and we all blaze the fruits of our labour peice

Oh - as for me...lol. This will be my first year officially celebrating the holiday. I will be bringing it in with a visit to Mephisto's Archives and ordering some of their Grape strains. In years past, it was one of the few (if ever) days that I actually make it a point to smoke at 4:20 p.m. Other than that, I pretty much always reflect on the Columbine tragedy on some level. I know, awfully morbid - and futile to scar such a joyous day with something so ugly.....but it was a lot of peoples reality that day, and it had a serious impact on many Juvenille LWOP cases that followed afterwards. I guess it's just a way to stay grounded and empathize.

When I moved here to Oregon, 1968, plenty of smoke available most of the year.
Over the decades a couple of smoke-ins at the state capitol, couple o' failed attempts at de-crim and legalization.

Now, 48 years later there's a shop 5 minutes walk from my house where I purchase state-taxed, legal cannabis.
There are those long inflated advertising deals, ya know the ones that are a tube about 20 foot long inflated by a fan. They stand tall and whip back and forth a way up in the air. Anyhoo, there's several of em' in use in town that have a BIG ol' cannabis leaf on em'.
Billboards with huge pics of a lit joint reminding you that if you smoke don't drive.
This year I'll have a few plants out in the backyard. Legal.
I never thought I'd see the day.

While it's sad it's taken what, 87 - 90 years to come full circle from the days of Anslinger's fraud , 420 is re-affirmed as bell-bottom jeans and corduroy shirts. Watchcaps and my blonde haired wife.

This will be my first year being fully assimilated into the 420 culture so I can't really say if I will do anything special - other than wait for my new Mephisto seeds to show up.
I don't grow much for personal use - I use mine to make meds for others so if I can make a great batch of RSO on that day then it will be all worth it.

Hey archie thats cool,i think of that day as a symbol for some of our freedom being returned to us.I have been hiding from our outdated laws for four decades.You know it is an american thang,but not as stupid as black fri.Another example of media hype and stupid bullshit.Peace
