First 2 grows, no problems with seeds, and had 2 amazing harvests. Last 2 grows, not so good. First went through about 5 seeds that either didnt make it past the surface or wilted and died within a few days. I did have 3 that went to harvest. And my latest grow, 2 are about a week old and the other 5 either didnt make it past the surface or wilted and died within a few days. Im really upet and very frustrated...please help! Thanks in advance! Any questions I will answer quickly!
Grow Info:

coco perlite mix.

Could be because your not feeding yet. I either pre-charge my coco or start feeding at .80Ec right from the beginning.

Could also be the genetics or how old the beans are.:goodluck:

How did you store the seeds?

Thanks for the quick replies....They were 5 WOS Afgahn Kush Ryders. Stored them in the original package in the fridge in a light proof container.
I have never rinsed my coco. It comes in brick form. i put the brick in a 5 gal bucket and put a few quarts of water, it expands and i throw in perlite, mix it up by hand and fill my pots and throw in the germinated seeds...

I used botanicare coco bricks for a couple years. I have seen the ppm of the runoff as high as 1600 and the ph all over the place. I started rinsing religiously after killing a few plants.

I have had 3 harvests and I am on my 4th grow. The first 3 were the same coco (first 2 grows, no issues but had at least 5-6 seeedlings die from 3rd grow), this current grow I used diferent coco because i was worried my coco went bad or something.

Have been tempted to use coco bricks many times for ease of use but have stuck now with a quality soil. The one thing that has put me off the bricks is I have read on several journals about the inconsistent quality ( high e.c and crazy ph levels) meaning a full and thorough rinse seems almost necessary.

I would check runoff e.c and ph levels and start from there. If your base levels are ok you can move on and look for other causes, until you know these are right, you might end up changing other areas of the grow that are working perfectly fine.

I am of course a newish grower and there are many, many other excellent coco growers on here who will I imagine give you detailed advice.

Hope you get it sorted, nothing worse than a grow going badly.
