Rev' GG is on point here! IMO, the lights are too close as well, we need an actual distance to tops please,.. it's often an exacerbating factor with such problems,...All this top damage tells me this is in part very likely a micronutrient defc., caused by the off pH and drying out,... never ever let coco get even kind of dry... [HASHTAG]#1[/HASHTAG] problem with coco is new growers treating it like true soil or other soilless peat-based mediums,.. this will always result in a TARFU situation like this,... coco runs more like hydro in many aspects... pH, EC/ppm managements, and if you're in regular pots, it's needs to be run drain-to-waste with 15-20% run-off each time to feed,.. and feed each time, diluting if needed, but never water alone! The run-off keep salt build up from causing pH, nute burn, and uptake problems.... coco has unusual CEC properties (cation exchange capacity), and has a list of definite do's and don't's,.. research this here, CANNA has a great website with info too,.. coco hogs Ca, Mg to a lesser extent,.. has native K in it too,... Oh, and what's your water source? pH management is always important, let that slide and you get this mess,... any pot can go off pH, no nute solution like AN's stuff will prevent this; self buffering works only in solution, not in-pot,...
Get the water info to us,light distance, along with a run-off pH and EC/TDS reading,... use only water+ mild Ca-Mg to minimize pH skewing from other nutes,.... then we can figure if a flush is called for,.. that also needs be done differently in coco; use RO/Di water, with 150ppm Ca-Mg, plus another 150ppm nutes, pH to 6.0.... pour through until pH/EC/ppm are close to or at input values,...
yeah, an Accurate 8 would be very handy about now,.. but in coco, it seems to be tricky to use vs. soil,... running coco in huge pots like this is also an error, one of it's big advantages is you can grow larger plants in smaller pots because of the drain-to-waste method,.. you WANT to cycle nute solution faster in there! Big pots take longer to dry, hold more excess nutes, are a PITA to full, and don't breath as well,.. that's the other advantage in coco, it holds and releases solutions better than anything else, and the springy textute help keep it form compacting, aids free draining which in turn draws more air into itself as it does so,...
