Update Day 46 - Stretch has definitely ended. I switched to bloom nutes a few days ago and got a little leaf tip burn when I did. Will be cutting nutes in half for a while and go from there. I think heightwise she stopped at about 2ft tall. Will toss up some fresh pics shortly.
High 5 Wht. Sirius,...mmmmmmghllaaahhhlalaa...! Juicy, well built looking plant WVT,... she's hiding all kinds of bud sites behind the leaves, ay? The reports on this strain here just kill me every time! You say she's about 2ft now? -she looks more like 3' in the pics! :brow: I gotta say, you Coco-nuts are putting on a clinic with nutrient management.... Nice work, mate!
I'm very happy with her structure. Lots of branching and bud sites that are hard to see in the pics like you said. I used only CFL the first couple of weeks then added the LED in small increments of time at first to make sure she was ok with it. I really think the LED with its penetration is what encouraged the nice branching I got going on. I think i counted 16 "main" branches. Some of those 16 have some nice branch off themselves. All of my previous grows were grown with CFL only with the exception of my last grow where I got to use the LED for the last month or so. This is my first grow having the LED available from day one and I am pretty excited about it. It took me a few weeks to get a grip on coco growing. I think I slowed her down a bit during my learning curve and I can only imagine how big she may have gotten. Stones slap
Edit- wanted to add this girl has been grown from day 1 on a 16/8 light cycle.
This is your first run with Coco? 1.2 gal pot?? LOL! No kidding...! ...double down on the props -like I said, a clinic on nutrition.... I can see the attraction and advantages of it, since the nutrition is exactly what you make it, no variables and guessing like in soil,... I gotta tell ya, mate, the more I see of indoor auto's vs. outdoor, the more I want to try an inside job! Alas, outdoors is the only discrete way for me right now,... LED's, of course, are quickly hustling the 'old school' lighting toward obsolescence it seems, and as initial expense goes down I think more and more folks will switch. There's no arguing with the results, huh! ...And 16/8! This is unusual, yes? It seems most everybody rides them hard at 20/4, or 18/6, at least during veg'ing... This is the big drag about growing outside- even with 14+ hrs, they just don't have the time to reach that certain size with side branching before the sex comes on!... Dewd, why just the 1 plant? Surely, there's room for another,... stylez rasta smoke
