Lighting 1st DWC grow, BAM by Pal

Right folks it's that time again and I'm back with my second grow and my first DWC attempt. My set up is as follows:

Tent: 80x80x160cm
Light: Grownorthern MS0006
Container: 20L Oxypot
Pump: Hailea 30lpm
Nutes: Canna Vega/Flores A+B, Cannazym, Rhizotonic, Canna Boost, Plant Magic Magne-Cal+

I'll be growing just one plant at a time due to only having one light and a fairly small tent, will step up my game once I'm dialled in, this is all new to me but I'm curious to see what one MS0006 can do for one DWC bucket.

I've placed my seed (Blue AutoMazar from Dutch Passion) into a glass of water to begin the germination process. It sank to the bottom immediately then surfaced a few minutes later..not sure what this means but I've left it in there to soak some more. Does anyone know if I will see a tap root using just the glass of water? I want to avoid the paper towels if possible and go straight to rockwool when/if the taproot appears.

If I've missed anything please feel free to shout at me, all/any advice is appreciated in these trying times. I'll be back later on with some pictures of the setup, so until then wish me luck with germination

Right guys here's where I'm at right now with a few pics to follow.

-Currently soaking clay pebbles in 5.5 water
-Started the water bubbling in the res
-Seed is germinating between paper towels, but I may move it into rockwool once the pebbles have soaked and place it in the net pot

Can't wait for everything to get moving, I've placed the air pump outside of the tent to keep it cooler and raised it above the res (can't remember where I read that but I've done it anyway)

Right-o, just made up the very first res:

60ml Rhizotonic
20ml Aqua Vega (10ml A + 10ml B)
EC 0.8
PH 5.5



You may have noticed my sneaky 16oz comp entry as well, hopefully she'll pop up tomorrow.

I've placed the seed into rockwool and into the netpot so hopefully in a couple days I'll have something to report, good or bad! I've got two more attempts before buying new seeds if this one doesn't take, wish me luck folks..

No seed above ground yet, PH rose to 5.8 but I readjusted it to 5.5 again this morning - at least it stayed in range but I'm sure this will all change once that root finds the water! I'll keep updating as stuff happens
