New Grower 2budz - Dark Devil/White Widow

Started these pots today so thought I’d document what’s going on. I picked up a 2 gallon rain science bag today hoping to see some better root expansion than I’m seeing in the regular fabric pots I’ve been using. Using the same 60/40 HF/OF soil as last grow. This stuff seems to be very hot from the start so will probably only use water and fish sh!t the first 3-4 weeks depending on how they do. Beans dropped were Dark Devil from Sweet Seeds and a White Widow I got from some bulk reseller, I’ve had decent luck with his seeds.

I think I’ve been over feeding my plants so I’m going to dial it way back with these ones and see what happens. When I do feed them I think I’ll use Gold Leaf again. I’ve been using FF OS, BB, CC during flower with all of my plants up to this point but I think I’ll skip those this time. I’ll use molasses a few times throughout probably starting with the first feed.

I will definitely have to top them since they’re in one of my 2x2x3 tents with some of my pepper plants. I haven’t done any lst yet but I think I may give it a go especially with the DD in the 2 gallon pot. It’s the biggest pot I’ve used so far.

They both seem to be off to a slow start. Crossing fingers.

DD day 6. She’s very light green and definitely seems to be slow to take off. I haven’t done anything but spray the topsoil with ph water to keep it damp. I know this soil is hot so thinking that’s the issue.

Day 10 DD. Day 11 WW. Still feel like they’re starting slow but they’re growing so that’s all I can ask for.

Day 16 WW. Day 15 DD. The leaves on the DD are darkening instead of being the lime green they’ve been since it sprouted. Despite a slow start they both look great and are growing as I’d expect.

First full watering this evening. Watered til runoff. Water ph @ 6.5 and 6ml/gal fish sh!t. Been keeping the top wet with a sprayer. Starting 4th set.

Day 22 & 23. More over watering issues with these 1 gallon grow bags. I think I need to get the bottom up so air can move under it. They just hold so much water and my vegging plants don’t like it. Dark devil is perky all the time though in the rain science bag.
