Photoperiod 4x2x4 tent scrog

Here we go, well bummer ,went to fire up the old tent (its had a few months 0ff) and seems my light went Ka-putski...so we not going to let that slow us down...this will be evolving

so we got a double level built in shelf system(really its a clone lab), that is now a 2 level scrog floor adjustable yeah? you'll see its gonna work just fine, I even used para cord.

ohh, yeah so we got this like "earth box" thing going on..bout 9 gallons of medium..mostly coco and some worm castings and this and that,,,but not too much, just makes for easy water consumption or less work

What's the story on the "earth box"? Not familiar with that at all.

earth box is just a semi auto watering planting container design setup , that also contains basically all the nutrients needed to grow for the life cycle...just add water......

maybe I'm just old,,,,,now thats prolly called like super soil in a custom semi auto watering planter

What do ya'll recommend for lighting?

Was poking at my old light for this tent , and Its just beyond messing with.

Right now I got a couple power strip twist plug and play's leds going... That will get me by for awhile....or...

Was considering building the mother of all power strip array's out of these 4 foot 12 plug power strips I seen at the hardware store...or a hand full of old style mars LEDs ..

Maybe some of these new cobs or LEDs...

I'm looking for low profile, low heat, great coverage, high intensity.... Right?

Day 15, trucking along , I like the looks of this gal,some purple shades on the under sides of leaves ...a very interesting smell, not overly strong smelling , but not light either ...its got some nose burn..lol..

should'nt be too long before she hits the screen, then its on

I've grown with everything from COBS to HPS...CFL to MH. Go with COBS. I am sure others will chime in about how they are the future of lighting.

Nice setup over there. I have a similar tent, but mine is the 60" tall. I'm using a diy 12 cob array with a photo & deep red bar that's also diy. I don't think I get my light above about 25% power because of heat. If I were looking again I would consider some of the panel based led arrays like the quantum boards. The thinner heatsink means you can raise the light higher when I'm fighting for inches. I assume you'd also be able to get a more even light spread. Although this is all based on theory since I haven't used the boards yet.

I'm definitely leaning towards COBs , but I think I'm gonna grab a handful more of strip plug and plays...To finish this grow anyway, maybe hold off on buying lights a year or so..just ghetto up my tent.....see what I can do with these ..

The COBs are pretty new, I bet they will be a lot better in just a year and half.

Only need 4 more of my power strip lights and I'll be at about 65w per sq ft for the tent...
That should do me OK...for now

forgot about these pics a few days old, next round will be real time,,,chugging along.....really short Malawi ,side shoots like crazy ..gonna be a really bushy pheno with less vertical than I'm used to from a sat,,,,I really like the structure and just everything on this gal...
