Hello to all,
Does anyone here have any experience with the A/C Infinity air conditioner or are considering the new one from Vivosun ? Looking for experiences/ advice. Thinking about getting one. I have a 2x4x6 tent with 6" inline duct fan pulling from the top and debating between Vivosun and A/C Infinity air conditioners. I'd be using it with Aerolight 150 or 200 lights depending on how many I decide to grow this time. Always having a problem getting temperature and humidity or both dialed in consistently.

Thanks in advance and I hope everyone has a great day.

Are the ac infinity ones finally available for purchase? For a long time they were "in development" a lot of their super niche stuff pops up like that and never really makes it to production. So Im surprised these did. It seems like a neat idea.

I kinda agree with frank though, it seems gimmicky. I was interested but you have to have a place to exhaust the hot air. Plus portable ac units burn a lot of energy. For the same price you could get a nice portable ac and do the entire room rather than control the tent. Seems easier just to control the room so the air the tent pulls in is adequate.

I appreciate the response. I just worry about opening the tent up. Right now I have everything enclosed in the tent except for the humidifier. Just always felt like it was opening up more variables for me to try to control. But I am a noob, lol. So, I'm learning and will take all advice under consideration if I want to learn this. So, thanks :).

Opening your tent up a few minutes a day is nothing to concern yourself with if the environment the tent pulls from is the same as what you want inside, even plus or minus 15% for both temp and humidity. It will take minutes to get back in range if you're already in a comfortable spot.

That's part of the problem to. To get anything close to ideal requires adding something to the environment. I'm growing in 1 tent in my room and drying in another room. House stays a steady 74-76 and around 44%-46% humidity, so I'm really at a loss what to do. I'll be starting cure on the one in about 3-5 days and sending the other to dry in a week or so. Tbh, I'm getting pumped for my next grow. Pretty excited after getting advice from people like you and Frank. My next grow will be Runtz, probably, lol. So, thanks for the advice, really appreciated. Y'all may not say what I want to hear but it is what I need to hear, lol.
Thanks.

We'll be looking forward to watching along with ya. Best of luck! You'll probably catch on faster than me 🤣

If the area around your tent stays the same as the house 74-76 just try exchanging more air through the tent. When my lung room/area around the tent gets warm in the summer I just use a window ac unit and cool my lung room/basement which help bring the temps down in my tent(s).
