Anyone getting excited to try the new MC formula?

Well I see nothing wrong with trying to improve for your customers. Every version has been better and this two part is great. U run your organics and let Megacrop perfect a onepart
Lol.. There will never be a such thing as a one part cannabis nutrient. Cannabis, like most flowering plants, canna requires different nutrients, in different amounts, at different times. It was a simple question, lol. And a legit one at that. It wasn't meant to upset the MC faithful.

Just wanted to provide an update:

I ordered the new 1 part back in May when it dropped. I've had fantastic results with it as a small grower. However, it turned to a rock in the bag pretty quick so I've been chiseling off chunks but now my grow is basically done so I went to repurchase and bought an airtight container.

They are no longer grinding the balls again. I emailed them asking if I got the old version or what was up and they told me that grinding the balls caused more serious caking (probably why mine is a rock) and went back to the old style with all the balls. The formula they said is the same despite a different analysis on the back so a little skeptical of that.

Overall, pretty disappointed to see such great results over their previous 2 one parts and have to go back to old style without any notice that I saw.

Will give it one more shot with the balls but if it's back to mixed results like the previous 2 with the balls, I'm giving up on MC.

I got pretty much the same results. Also there's a little something that doesn't quite dissolve readily. If you stir it in a bucket, you can see it in the center of the bucket at the bottom. It's a light color and sorta translucent. It does take a bit for it to fully dissolve. I mix it up and do other things and come back to it.

I'm rocking the new 2 part formula. I've never had so many deficiencies with GH. My plants were always perfectly healthy Green when I used GH. Now I'm using MC 2 part and I dont know what I'm doing wrong but my plants just keep getting worse. 3 to 4 more weeks my cheese will be done so I'm just tryin to get em to the finish line at this point. Or maybe that's why they're looking so rough cuz they are taking the nutrients from the leaves and leaving em yellow and colorful looking. I flushed my soil then started lower on nutrients and nothing. Bumped the nutes back up and nothing. Recharge didnt even do the trick. So I'm scratching my head like wtf am I doing wrong? Is it me or is it MC. I dont know. I tried fixing the lockout and it's not seeming to work. Ph is always between 6.3 and 6.5. Feeding and run off. I followed Man O Greens advice and flushed and lighter fed and that didnt help. Idk man. I'm thinking of grabbing a bag of the 1 part to use in flower and just use the 2 part for veg to see if that makes a difference or not. Then if that helps maybe I'm just feeding wrong with it. But I went off what man o Green recommended and he knows his shit. So I really am stumped.

Are you using RO?

My advice to new growers like yourself, is to take some time to start learning the cannabis plant and how the nutrients work.. What nutrients a canna plant needs, at what levels, and when.. Learn the needs, growth patterns, deficiencies, ect. Learn about when to water and when to feed (which are two different things).. Same with the medium and nutrient lines you are using.. Learn how they work together, how they interfere with each other ect..I hate to see you guys having so much trouble just trying to feed the plant correctly. I don't have all of the answers, but I promise you, that the plant does! It will show you exactly what nutrients it needs if/ when it needs it.. If you are overfeeding, under watering, if it's stressed, ect, the plant will show you. We have to learn how to read those signs. Mega crop has a heavy npk ratio.. If you are growing in soil, you may only need to actually feed the plant a few times (the plant will tell you).. If you are in hydro or coco, then you should be using their feed calculator to get the proper dosage. 5-12-26 is far too heavy for a seedling.. So it must be mathematically reduced to lower those ratios to fit each stage of growth. That's why they market MC as "customizable". Feed charts are "recommendations".. Not laws. And 99% of the time, these feed charts and nutrient lines, aren't designed for autos that veg for only a few weeks and spends most of its life in flower. That's a huge factor to consider in feeding and following feeding charts. That's why people recommend starting any nutrient line at half strength.. A little fyi, the term/word "crop" in gardening refers to grains, fruits, and veggies.. not flowers..

I want to see all of you succeed in every way that you are trying to! Dialing in MC seems to be an issue for many.. I just think all of these things (and more) needs to be considered when feeding or just following the feeding charts of any nutrient line. I think @Mañ'O'Green has a handle on the feeding calculations, maybe he can provide some insight on lowering the dosages and ppms for different stages! I hope these issues get figured out, and want to help as much as possible!

I am not new to growing. I've ran into lots of problems throughout growing the past few years but always corrected it and never had plants look this stressed. But I made errors starting off in soil. I'm learning soil growing so it's new to me compared to dwc hydro and so is MC but I wasnt adjusting ph at first and then was feeding nutes every day. I learned from man o green a better feed schedule and how to flush soil plants and re feed on a better npk ratio. Now I feed then water twice before feeding again. @Mañ'O'Green helped me allot and I learned where i was screwing up by overfeeding. The ph I knew right away i just was waiting on funds and then got a cheap liquid test drop kit for a few weeks til I cud order my bluelab combo meter which I got now. I think I just might a beat em up bad before this point by grower errors. So my next run shud be less problems now I learned more about soil growing and dialing in MC. But this first run been a bitch. I sold all my equipment and hydro gear when my lungs collapsed twice last year so I started over in soil to be easier on me and upgraded to leds which I thank god I did (rocking old school 1000 watt magnetic ballast/hps for flower and high output t5 for veg b4.) No tents before either. I built a much better set up this time. Costed lots of cash along the way and it was a process to get where I'm at now compared to when I started growing again. I grew dwc hydro b4 this so it is a new learning experience though. A little different than hydro but now I think I got it down good. I just dont think there gonna bounce back to healthy looking from the ph lockout first then the overfeeding. I grew 4 plants a time before. Now I am worked up to a 12 plant system which is legal here in Michigan. 4 autos planted every 4 weeks is what I'm starting now. Perpetual harvest once a month once its rocking. I probably just beat em to hell from starting off low on funds and grower errors by overfeeding. I'm thinking I'll be able to dial it in better from now on tho thanks to man o green!

I've used real growers recharge once a month also. But not anymore this late in flower. They're flowering nicely. But the leaves look rough here and there. Theres still green leaves left. But they're sucking the life out of the leaves right now. Lol

Yes I got a 4 stage tankless ro. Takes my tap from 150ppm .500 scale to 0ppm according to my bluelab combo meter. I havent used additional calmag cuz @Mañ'O'Green said I shouldn't need it with the 2 part formula.

Man that sucks. I'm using RO with their two part in Growpito with no issues. I'm guessing nothing really changed from GH to MC environmentally?
