Grow Room Auto Wembley - Newb behind the wheel !

So I have a small cubby hole under a closet in my bedroom its about 29 inch high, 2ft L , 22 in W. I decided its time to try a grow again. I got high went to alibongo picked out what I thought was a pretty bud in the seeds. Ordered 1 haha only 1 hope it takes root. Got it in a shot glass right now fingers crossed it pops. Ha 1 what was I thinking. Anyway if it takes and starts growing I will start documenting it here. Pyramid seeds auto wembley (fem.I believe?) Im excited! I hope you guys are here waiting at your keyboards patiently, fingers arc'd ready to type a answer to my questions when I start flooding them in.

Ok so some info on my grow.
Small cubby in my room 29 inches total height to work with.(I foresee some LST)
Seed- Auto Wembley, Pyramid seeds
Lights 8 CFL's 4 2700k 4 5000k
Planted in Soil from my worm farm.(I dont have any fancy soils or nutes or ect)
Today is day 5 since I started germinating the seed, and im seeing it start to push up through the soil. YAY!

Ok, so ordered more seeds, in the mean time my 1 seed sunk to the bottom. Almost 40 hours in the shot glass no pop. So I took it out and put it in moist paper towel in a baggy. Next day it had a white tail. So now I got it in some soil I took from my worm farm. Any ideas on when I should see a sprout?

It all depends.. I would say within 5 days, but probably less. Cheers

Question, I soaked my seeds in a shot glass until they sunk, put them in a paper towel until it cracked open and a little white tail popped out. I got some soil from my worm farm(i like to fish). Put the popped seeds just under the soil. Should I have my lights on? It does not seem warm enough in there without them on. I have tools ordered to tell humidity and temp and all. but just off gut feeling doesnt seem warm enough in my grow box.

Hey xcodesx. Your looking good. There are alot of examples of people having great grows with CFL's. That is how I started as well. As summer approached and temps started to rise I had problems with controlling temperatures in my closet. I switched to a small cheap mars-hydro LED and it solved my temperature problem. Just my two cents.
