New Grower can you LST autos?

my results ..one plant! ..cutting never hurt my plants and I'll cut almost 2 oz of leafs off at a time (every week!) if it stunted my growth I'd be afraid to see what happens if I didn't trim ...notice very little leaf :check:

Damn, that's a Beautiful plant.

Like I said, I do a little of both.
I just don't recommend people do it before they can read their plants. Not a first grow thing in my book.

Hey, I tried the molasses thing once, lol.
Only once too. The only time I ever had root rot.
Didn't matter how much h202 I was running.

I'm experimenting with Heisenberg Tea and it made me nervous even using it in the tea.

Peace.

after reading about how your not supposed to trim autos I came across an article on before and after a 'haircut', and two days later.... it convinced me right away, plus I always knew to trim the 'water' leaves off so I started it with my first plants.... gotta have 'cojones' to grow with the big boys
just joking about the molasses never used it, h2o2 darn near killed my plant had to empty the water two days later or it would have been curtains so I just stick to the basics I use, and change the water every week.. don't forget the calmag! :key:

Dude, after chatting about all this I ended up going into my tent, trimming all the undergrowth and giving the mid-bloom "haircut", lol.

I'm a great example aren't I?

:roflcry:

Interested to see how it goes mate, keep us updated - pictures would be great..I have two girls running right now ones just started to flower, ive been tucking away but some are just impossible to tuck behind lower bud sites because they mid way up the plant, the leaves also got damaged by a mg deficiency, really considering giving these the chop! It's my first grow so feel free to go check it out and comment :)

pal23, do me a favor ..cut every leaf that covers a bud site and report back the next day!
post your grow lionk

I have one plant that isnt quite flowering yet, do you reckon it's too soon to chop the damaged leaves away? Don't want to stunt it but if I was going to test the technique it would be on the smaller of my two girls - this is my first grow so don't want to do anything that may affect my end yield..decisions decisions..

Edit: Do you think your success with trimming has anything to do with using hydro? The bud sits increase like 3x compared to soil grows from what i've seen so the extra power might be helping your plants to recover faster? sorry if that doesn't make sense, my thinking is that in soil the rate it recovers may be too slow to be effective and thats why a lot of people are on the "against" trimming autos team.

2nd Edit: here's a link to my journal, its the plant on the right on considering since theres bud sits being covered, let me know what you think :peace:
