New Grower Cannabis Club Smoke-Off - Need Suggestions & Advice

I have only had the pleasure of smoking authentic trainwreck once in my life and it was very potent (One of the top ten most potent imo). I got a batch of G13xTrainwreck once that was also very potent, so I know a cross of that and OG will be very nice. Trainwreck was originally bred in Humboldt county many years ago.

It is a hard job I do road testing this stuff but someone has to do it.
Haha I would help you if I could mate :toke:

Number 2 test Kandy X Humboldt

Hey thanks for the information. The breeder of this Kandy X Humboldt lists the parentage as being: Female Kandy Kush out of O G Kush and Trainwreck Male being Humboldt County which is Blueberry and White Widow. How bad can that be? I will be back from my job at 3 this afternoon. I will round up mt wife and share it with her so I can get her opinion also. Why is it every time i smoke O G Kush I get my ass kicked. Yesterdays road test had O G Kush in it as well. It is a hard job I do road testing this stuff but someone has to do it.

OK after a day of delivering bread I came home had lunch and sparked her up. This is not a mild smoke. It has attitude from the first puff. I didn't end up in a coughing fit but it was borderline. Sometimes I think it is more a facter of how much air goes through the joint rather than the pot itself. This stuff smells like great pot smoking it. While my wife was hitting it the smell filling the room has that great pot smell. Just like when you go out somewhere like a party and get a whiff from across the room and have to race over to join the circle.

By the time my wife passed me the joint back I was seriously getting off on the first hit. Again not a true indica only sensation it has got the floating, happy, giggly side to it. It didn't have much couch lock to it. It is a real indica sativa cross. I am really starting to think the O G Kush must be mostly sativa. Straighten me out people are any of you growing O G Kush? What the hell is it like not crossed. I have smoked it before but never grown it. I sure as hell can't figure out why not. Is there an auto of it also?

I asked my wife about what she thought of it after she and I were done smoking it. She thought it was really good pot and got plenty stoned and headed out to enjoy the sunny afternoon in her garden. A pure indica would have downed her and me too. She said she didn't like it as much as the last one we tried yesterday. She said it isn't as smooth and doesn't have the nice taste.

Myself I liked the strong pot aroma and don't mind a little harshness in the smoke. It is very hard for me to pick between them they are about similar in strength with mavbe yeaterday's being a little bit stronger. I don't know how this one's stone will last. Yesterday's pot held in there for a slid 6 hours.

This pot I am going to give an 8 to but that may be a bit unfair cause in most ways it is just as good. This is harder than I thought. Maybe the marking scale should include fractions and if it was allowed I would give at least an 8.5. But then I would have to round it up to the next highest number. Oh well a guess it is an 8 I gotta settle with.

I still grow Trainwreck every year and tie it up like a tomato plant to keep it from falling over when it starts to bud up. Everything else about it is fine except for the stupid parsnip smell. At least it goes away after it dries. Parsnip smell aside it smokes great and sure does the job. Still a primo pot. I am definately gonna try and get some beans for O G Kush. Any suggestions anyone where I should go to find a good strain of it?

I have been giving the daily write ups of my testing for the 2011 Fall "Smoke Off" There doesen't seem to be much interest so I am going to quit doing these write ups. I will come back after awards night and tell you who won the three catagories in about three weeks. I am finding that it is hard for me to type after I just smoke up and today is no exception so see ya all later. I may not be posting much in this pot testing period but I will answer your PMs. Today's pot was Jackalope X Chocolope last year's Indica and Indica Cross winner in our little "anual smoke off". Chocolope everyone knows as it was a Hy Times Amsterdam winner. Jackalope is just old type Jack Herer. Talk to you all in a few weeks.

I dont read it every day... but I def come through once a week and I'll miss it as well... its nice to see another perspective on the canna world from my limited view these days... :smokebuds:

I got no problem picking up on the Chocolope Jackalope cause I know the pot well. I got seeds for it from the breeder's club at the spring seed swap and grew a couple. It was last years winner in the class. I will write the smoke test tomorrow.

This is my test of Chocolope Jackalope which is test number 3 for this years Local Breeders cup I am part of. Thanks for the support guys I am recharged.

The fist question I have to ask is the same question I asked last year "what the hell is this pot doing in the indica section?" as I understand it Jack Herer is mostly sativa and so is Chocolope. For me I smoke more sativa than anything else especially through the day. I may be out to lunch on this what the hell do I know.

Jackalope is listed as the female and the heritage is listed as Diesel X Pure bud. Hmmm not what I heard. Jack Herer is listed as Northern Lights 5 X Skunk 1; I think this is true but there are other influences like Afghani 1 and Haze cause Jack really liked to fuck around. The pot world will all miss Jack, I had to throw that in.

This pot was last years winner in our little club. I bought seeds last Spring at the annual club seed swap and grew it this year. I have grown Chocolope also in the past two years ago when it placed second in the cannibis club. The original Chocolope had really nice tight buds that had a lot of orange hairs. Unfortunetly the mix of the two lost its orange look. It did maintain its nice tight buds and is a dream to clip. It grew without problems outside in the raised beds. Not the heaviest yielding thing in the world but sure is a winner in every other way. It really looked a lot like California Orange Skunk when it grew. I never thought it tasted like chocolat I thought it tasted like Wrigley's Juicy Fruit gum. O well. I always thought Bubblegum tasted like Thrills Gum to all you old gum chewers.

Just threw this in cause I knew this from growing the stuff not really part of this roadtest.

I had my wife join me after she came in from doing her day at the part time job we share. We lit the joint up yup it still has the fruity Jicy Fruit gum taste with a little extra fruitiness, from the Jack and that slight skuniness. Wicked nice flavour and great burning aroma. My wife listed it as the nicest smell of all the pots she smokes except for Blue Mystic. The smoke is wicked smooth like velvet. The fist hit starts to relax any anxiety you may be feeling and has floating sensation. Getting off great after the second hit just like the first time I ever smoked this stuff. The effect is totally sativa. This is really wierd by the first three pots in the list I would swear I was smoking a sativa. This has to be the number 1 pot for giving you the munchies I have ever smoked. Chain up your fridge if you are trying to hang on to leftover for supper. Maybe smoke it in the parking lot of a 7-11. Caution do not smoke this stuff if you are on a diet. It has the total sativa longtivity in the stone. It is so not like Indiaca where you can go through your 1/8 in an evening with a few friends. None of that at all just leaves you enjoying the wonderful feeling. Yup total high grade shit that would please anyone who got it from you. My wife thinks it is great and she especially likes the fruitiness. In fact she said I hope we will be growing this again next year. This is not as powerfull as the first two but o my the taiste and the feeling of euphoria. I give it an 8 and I will be growing it again next year.

LOL, I see detox in your future by the time you get through all 17 strains! Great reviews Nelson, keep em coming.

Hey thanks guys for the wicked kind words.

Todays test of the Oasis and NYCD will be after the Jets game at 1PM Eastern so maybe around 4 we will spark her up. I have never smoked or grown Oasis but I have grown Northern Lights and a lot call Oasis = Northern Lights 2. NYD is of course familier to me. I don't know what to expect but the breeder is even older than I am and has been a legend around here for years if only in his own mind. I expect it will have a story behind it and will be fun.
